Getting there was part of the adventure—a scenic four-hour drive from the airport, with the final stretch on a gravel road through rain and cows! But once we arrived, we were welcomed into a peaceful paradise. Our private casita had stunning views of the rainforest and distant Pacific, and we were surrounded by the sounds of nature—birds, monkeys, and fresh mountain air. The lodge blends eco-luxury with deep respect for Costa Rican culture and sustainability. Meals were included, and they were a true highlight—delicious, locally inspired, and beautifully presented. Huge thanks to Lady, Julia, Maribel, and Liz for their incredible cooking and hospitality. Everyone we met was warm and welcoming—from Allan and Hugo, who shared the lodge’s inspiring history, to Andres, Ariel, Randal, Cucho, Karolina, Liz, and Alexis, who made everything run so smoothly. "Neither words nor pictures can fully depict just how amazing this property is. Both the property and the views are stunning. Jennifer and Rambo are both on top of communication. Rambo and his team were available throughout our stay, and not only made the most wonderful meals, but facilitated excursions, massages, directions, etc. He prepared an impromptu meal that he wasn’t planning on without hesitation, and it was fabulous. We are already talking about booking our next stay."

"Is a beautiful place indeed the nature is breath taking, but few misses like the internet signal didn't reach oor room and the place is in a remote area so no internet also. Plus the 50 dollars per day for a dog a bit expensive. The rest amazing, friendly staff great views great food o recommend it "

There are a lot of activities for guests such as bird watching, hiking trails, horseback riding. There is also a Spa that offers diverse services. Excellent place to relax by the River Savegre.
