"We traveled with two other families, 6 adults, 7 kids age 5-16 and had the BEST time here. The staff were all so gracious and friendly. Esteban is a complete gem. He helped us learn about Costa Rica, taught us about all the plants and wild life, helped us with our Spanish and was just generally a joy to have present. We went horseback riding at the falls (definitely recommend) and went to Manuel Antonio national park (also recommend with a guide!). We had dinner cooked for us several nights and ate at a couple of the local restaurants. Mirador Los Chorros (on the hill at the turn) was one of our favorites:) can’t say enough great things about this spot. We’re already scheming for how we can make it back! "

Getting there was part of the adventure—a scenic four-hour drive from the airport, with the final stretch on a gravel road through rain and cows! But once we arrived, we were welcomed into a peaceful paradise. Our private casita had stunning views of the rainforest and distant Pacific, and we were surrounded by the sounds of nature—birds, monkeys, and fresh mountain air. The lodge blends eco-luxury with deep respect for Costa Rican culture and sustainability. Meals were included, and they were a true highlight—delicious, locally inspired, and beautifully presented. Huge thanks to Lady, Julia, Maribel, and Liz for their incredible cooking and hospitality. Everyone we met was warm and welcoming—from Allan and Hugo, who shared the lodge’s inspiring history, to Andres, Ariel, Randal, Cucho, Karolina, Liz, and Alexis, who made everything run so smoothly. "Neither words nor pictures can fully depict just how amazing this property is. Both the property and the views are stunning. Jennifer and Rambo are both on top of communication. Rambo and his team were available throughout our stay, and not only made the most wonderful meals, but facilitated excursions, massages, directions, etc. He prepared an impromptu meal that he wasn’t planning on without hesitation, and it was fabulous.
