"Antonella is a lovely woman who speaks a little English. We were all able to understand each other with no problem. She was welcoming and gave us a lovely glass of wine from her vineyards when we arrived. Her surroundings are beautiful with seeing olive trees and vineyards and the town of Certaldo. Our room was big , very clean and bathroom was great. I would totally recommend going to her place . They also give tours of their vineyards and olive oil factory. I wish we could have stayed another...

"No Heat, No Host Communication and Awkward. We got lucky with check in that the daughter answered the door and let us in. We never saw the host. I thought this was more of a hotel or bed and breakfast than a room in someone's house as it was. We ordered a double room and it was three rooms on the third floor of the property (One being the daughter of the hosts room) and two rooms that we did stay in and a shared bathroom. The daughter did not share the bathroom but it was clear it was hers...

"Great boutique hotel in the middle of Tuscany. Wonderful views. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We really loved the complimentary wine tasting at their nearby winery! We only wish their rooftop deck would’ve been open for even better views. The hotel and winery are family owned and it’s very clear that they value every guest!"

"Absolutely stunning scenery with beautiful rolling hills and surrounding wineries. Friendly and helpful staff. Seems to be family owned. If I were to suggest some areas of improvement, maybe the shower stalls can be cleaned more thoroughly. Breakfast varieties could also do with some expansion. But in general it was a wonderful stay! "Conveniently located close to the centre and the parking (if driving). Our room had also a kitchen. Very clean and comfortable. Only cons is that there is no elevator (our room was at second floor). It was not a problem for us but very important for people with walking difficulties. Highly recommended. "

It was adequately equipped but missing little things like salt and pepper, sugar They do offer wine tasting and vineyard tours and they’re quite expensive. The special dinner was rather ho hum for the price but it was convenient. Yhe pool was clean and chilly! It’s normally closed by mid October so the temperature was no surprise ( guessing around 65F) The views and the surrounding countryside are priceless. Well worth it! "

"Such a nice breakfast out on the patio. Quiet, peaceful. Took a dip in the pool which is gorgeous.. unfortunately weather not super warm during our visit but still enjoyed a refreshing dip! Loved our hike to SanGimingnano. Be aware that this is kind of a remote property, but it is beautiful and peaceful. Its up a windy dirt road. We stayed for dinner two nights and enjoyed the property and hiking. Very nice and helpful staff."
