"My daughter and I stayed for a week. The check in staff and shuttle driver were all lovely. The restaurant/bar staff were a bit hit and miss. The room was very nice, shower amazing, good charging pod which was a bonus. There were no drawers which was difficult for a weeks stay. We ate 1 night at the hotel and it was awful. "Some lovely staff, good location, a short walk to town. Bedrooms were small but functional, bathrooms a little tired. Was unable to stop room being too hot despite turning down radiators. Breakfast service was slow and random, much better to provide a buffet, or even just a self service coffee machine, it could take 20 mins to get a coffee in morning. We didn’t stay around the bar for the nightly karaoke style singer."

"We stayed in early January in a triple room. The hotel has recently been renovated and it had only just opened. The location is EXCELLENT! It is a few minutes walk down the hill to the Clotes lift and slopes - ideal for a short ski break. There is a sizeable ski room with heated boot warmers and plenty of space. "The hotel is very nice, very clean and the staff are really helpful and friendly. The rooms are very clean and spacious, but the mattresses are really hard. Even my kids complained as it made a decent nights sleep difficult. Given there are many reviews with similar comments I am surprised they have not done something about it. The room was comfortable & spacious, would probably benefit from having a couch given it was a suite. The mini bus to the slopes is a great service and very efficient, would be great if it ran a little later into the evening. "
