"The property locates on the top of some hills. By looking out of the windows, you will get a panoramic view of the valley underneath which is amazing. All rooms are spacious and each bedroom has individual bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped. The kids enjoyed the pool a lot. The only thing we do not like is that the resort does not have air conditioning. We sometimes woke up during midnight by the Tuscany summer heat. "There are no words for the service and comfort at Athena. The staff at the front desk as well as restaurant and bar went above and beyond to anticipate our every need. The hotel offers the hospitality of a private inn with all the amenities of a four star hotel. A special shout out to the team at the front desk. Leaving them was like leaving dear friends. "Beautiful hotel in an excellent location, right in the centre of Siena. Staff were extremely efficient and helpful, room was lovely with view of the square, comfortable bed and good amenities. It’s worth bearing in mind that the rooms overlooking the street are a bit noisy from people passing by below (not the hotel’s fault) so I recommend earplugs for light sleepers. "
