Our room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The restaurant was a very comfortable place to be, and the pizza was delicious! Between birdwatching, floating in the pool, and enjoying the restaurant/observation deck, we were able to fully relax at Cerro Lodge!"

It was raining one night and we didn't want to walk down town so we went to the restaurant. The food was really good and the bar was also great and accommodating. "A beautiful mountain setting surrounded by nature and hordes of hummingbirds. We saw a trop of 15-20 Coati on the ride in one evening and dozens of hummingbirds at breakfast every morning. The staff is gracious and friendly and always willing ti held with a reservation for a local excursion to the Coffee/Chocolate Plantations or the Adventure parks in the area. our visit was truly outstanding!"

"Perfect place in Monteverde. Rooms are large, beds are comfortable and clean, parking is right in front and it’s a 3 minute walk to most restaurants and stores. Staff were very friendly and easy going. Very minor thing but you can sometimes hear road noise - but all solved with some ear plugs! "
