"Calico Jacks is a bit outside San Ignacio so you definitely need a vehicle but the room was really cleaned and comfortable. I stayed for only one night so I haven’t used the pool or tried the zipline but the food at the restaurant onsite and the staff were amazing. Julio was my server and my guide the morning after to visit Barton Creek’s caves and he made sure I had a wonderful time."

"Nabitunich is a one of a kind property and staying here is an experience in itself. You are surrounded by nature on this family run farm. Seeing the toucans was a huge highlight for me. "The staff at Cassia Hill Resort are amazing. Two especially, Abby at the front desk and Carlos the security man were wonderful. Isabella in the restaurant is exceptional! The location is perfect for anyone wanting to do excursions from San Ignacio. The cabins are spacious and clean. The maintenance guys brought us fresh coconuts to drink and eat. Excellent place to stay. My daughter and I stayed 9 days and have great lifetime memories."

"Cahel Pech is a great affordable option in San Ignacio. The pool setup is a fun amenity and meals were delicious and reasonably priced. The hotel was happy to set us up with tours and local drivers too. On a Saturday night, the local town partied loudly until 3am but I can't really fault the hotel for that. The room could be improved with a new mattress and pillows. The view of the town is super nice and there's even a local bunny that is super friendly! Staff is top notch."
