With three bedrooms (master with queen bed; 2nd room with 1 twin bed and one bunk bed and 3rd with queen bed) you will be more than comfortable in Sandy Cove.

Located by the beach with full condo complex amenities, you can make our home your own.

The property itself features a modern decor, with plenty of space for a large family. All bedrooms are air conditioned and the property features wifi throughout plus cable TV service.

Sandy Cove faces the beautifully landscaped pool area that contains 5 pools, all designed around different themes. Beyond that is direct access to the beach, about 200 yards away. The property is on the second floor, away from the foot traffic, and is located so that the Tradewinds can flow freely through it.

This is another fine property brought to you by The Marco Polo Collection, a collection of fine vacation rental properties! You will be in excellent hands with our professional staff, with many years of experience, drawn from Puerto Rico, the U.S. and Europe.

The location of this property in Aquatika places you in the middle of many of the major attractions that visitors from San Juan spend a lot of time and money to reach. The El Yunque rain forest is 20 minutes away, and world-famous Luquillo Beach is also 15 minutes to the East. Las Croabas with its bioluminescent bay is close by, as is the Las Cabezas de San Juan Nature Reserve. So is Fajardo, starting point for ferries to Culebra and Vieques, for day sails to some of the uninhabited islands East of Puerto Rico, and for scuba diving and boat rentals.

A car is recommended. 2 Parking spaces provided for guests.

Beach chairs, towels and a cooler will be provided for guests' use. Playing cards also available and dominoes for some family fun.

NOTE: The property complex has a requirement that all visitors acquire ID bracelets (the Resort Fee). There is a maximum of 8 bracelets permitted per unit, and the cost is not included in the rental fees. Visitors without bracelets are not permitted. This bracelet should be worn at all times during your stay when outdoors. Only registered guests will have access to the property and the complex.

Great time

The place is great for familiesw kids. Gated, lots of open space, playground, beach and pools. You'll want a rental car if staying here.

Great Property

We enjoyed our stay at Aquatika! We had a hard time finding the property and felt the surrounding area to be a bit rough and enjoyed the security with the gated property. The property itself was clean but could use some updating. A couple of the beds weren’t the most comfortable. The a/c units are very loud. We enjoyed having washer/dryer. The supplies basic condiments & laundry soap were appreciated. We loved all of the pools, especially the heated pool, the hot tubs and all of the outdoor spaces in general. We would likely stay again.

Overall it was a good stay the beds where hard and needs updating kept getting bite by mosquitoes every night with all the doors always closed lifted my bedding to one of the beds sheets where dirty behind the dressers needs to be swept

Great for the price

This location was great for the price. There were some things lacking (no restaurant on site, limited lounge chairs at the pools, beds were not very comfortable, etc.) but you can't have all the amenities and a low price at the same time. The unit was dated but still clean and I loved that there were spices for cooking so that we didn't have to buy those! The beach was lovely and not too crowded. The patio areas around the pools were terrible and hurt to walk on barefoot but the pools themselves were a nice temp and were clean. The surrounding neighborhood was great and we never felt unsafe on or off the property. I do highly recommend a rental car if staying at this location as it would be difficult to explore the island or even the local area without one.

Aquatica 2023

As mentioned to Managing Agent of Marco Polo group, I found Aquatica itself to be a very nice family resort. However the apartment was not good. Two TVs in unit did not work properly even after someone was sent to check it out. The ac in large bedroom with the bunk beds was not working properly. While I would lease at Aquatica, I would never recommend the apartment to anyone

Needs better furniture and cleaned better

The area was a great location, the resort was great, esp for my kids. I would stay with the resort again, but I will not stay in this condo again. The furniture is so old and worn out it's ridiculous. The couch cushions don't even hold their shape anymore! The first day my son spilled some water on the floor. When I wiped it up, the towel was dark brown. That floor was so filthy for it "just being cleaned". The dryer was gross and made our towels smell AWFUL.

El lugar es acogedor y con todo lo necesario de primera necesidad al instante, las piscinas tienen buena temperatura el unico detalle es que deben de estar limpias y en funcionamiento aunque no sea fin de semana ya que no es justo para los que estamos en dias de semana no disfutar de las chorreras, etc...

Disappointed the minute we walked in.

we had high hope for this apartment only to be disappointed . this property was very poorly maintained. there was no clubs for the mini golf course. I asked the property manager to help and she did nothing.. the AC unit leaked large puddles of water. the bathroom reeked of pee no matter how much we cleaned it. And the bed.... they were god Awful!!! they were so old and stiff. its a shame because the property around the apartment was nice. but i would never rent from this owner again. 1 star.

Del apto. Nada negativo excelente!!! Pero del complejo deberían de cerrar piscina al menos 8pm ya que a las 6 si uno llega del trabajo el check-in es 3 uno llega cmo a las 6 y fue 1 día perdido. Pagar tanto dinero para perder 1 dia.

Would definitely go again under one condition they MUST UPDATE THE BEDS!! Some beds are literally a wood plank with little cushion so it felt like u was sleeping on the floor. The bed my husband and I slept on was horrible I felt the springs in our backs for 8 days woke up with back pains and all. Other than the beds Aquatica is a very clean, family friendly place. They have 3 nice size pools only thing is they are only 3ft 6 inches deep. I mean it was still good enough to enjoy especially in the heat.

Great place to stay with family!

Aquatika is a great place to stay with family. Apartments accomodate up to 8 people. The complex has 5 pools, 2 jacuzzis, a mini golf, big playground, basketball courts, tennis court, and access to the beach. Everything you need for recreation and more can be found in the apartment: portable chairs, towels, a golf club and ball, basketball, roller blades, scooter, beach paddles, and dominoes to pay inside. The only thing you won't find are tennis rackets and balls, everything else is there. When we got there, the management had left us some complementary cereal boxes,coke cans, dish soap,and cleaning soap. There is all the cookware that you need but you do need a car to buy the food,shampoo,etc. Everything was very clean. The only complaint is that the mattresses were not firm anymore and some of the pillows were very slim, everything else was perfect. We have stayed here before and we would stay again.

Great place with very nice pools

Place was very clean with lots of space. Had a nice view of the pools. The AC noise didn't bother me. Its quick to cool down the bedrooms. Beds were a little hard but not too bad. The resort closes access to the beach at 9pm which was a little disappointing but the pool stays open until 1am. Overall had a great stay.

Good price, but...

We wanted to stay within the property and have relatives come to visit, but renters can not have visitors. Management tried to help, but only a few could come. We have a special needs grandson who enjoys river pools. Turns out the river pool water did not move. There was no gym. The apartment was good size, and we were able to cook all our meals, but there were no screens in the windows and could not not enjoy the breeze. The AC was noisy. Many mosquito bites. The beds were not comfortable. Ground were well maintained and beach was enjoyable. We made the best of it, don't plan to return there.

Great Vacation...The Sandy Cove condo was Great!

We would stay here if we vacation in PR again. This was our first time to the island. The condo was exactly as described. Very clean. Even plenty of beach towels to go around! The Pools are great. The complex was very well kept and safe. We were a party of 7 (4 kids) and there was ample room to spread out. There is a info book in the condo that gives tips on dining and activities. We went mostly from the list. Strongly recommend the snorkeling and bioluminescent kayak tour. The staff was very helpful and always quick to respond to texts. A+ Thanks!

The place is beautiful- a living paradise.

Due to hurricane Irma- we had to leave our lodgings and find a place to stay inland. Power was not able to be restored so we had to find a different place to stay after the hurricane. Previous to the hurricane- our stay was perfect.
