Hilton Malta

8/10 Good

"Nice hotel and big pool. We had 2 children with us ages 9 and 10. We booked this hotel as it had the kids club but you had to pay euros for the football table which was broken anyway so that was quite disappointing. The kids didn’t use the kids club as there wasn’t much going on there. The water in the outdoor pool was so cold they hardly went in, so ended up being a bit bored. I think for cooler weather months the hotel should consider heating the water as everyone complained how cold it was. The hot tub for adults outside by the main pool had half the jets working and half broken and was lukewarm warm. Not pleasant at all. The spa area was nice. We both had massages which were ok. The room was basic and the balcony was sunk in so was very dark in the room and no sunshine on the balcony so just felt cold a lot. It was my husband’s birthday the week before so I had requested a bottle of wine be set up in the room for our arrival. It was late but was a nice touch when it finally came so thank you to the staff for organising that. The children loved their note and sweets too. Staff are really nice and friendly. Really lovely service from all staff. Location was great, short taxi ride from airport. Approx 20 Euros. Close to all main bars and restaurants. I wouldn’t stay again as felt the hotel facilities and amenities could do with updating and maintenance. We didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t comment on that."

Ramla Bay Resort

10/10 Excellent

"A great hotel away from the bustle of other areas but great for ferry travel and boat trips, including some of the best spots for snorkelling. The food was good, staff were very helpful with everything we asked. The hotel has a number of bars you can flick through with the various happy hours which is great. The private beach and snorkelling/swimming area is great!"

Hotel Valentina

10/10 Excellent

"We had an amazing week’s stay in Hotel Valentina. Everything from the lobby to the bathrooms were immaculate and the staff were friendly and helpful. The only small thing I would have changed was longer opening hours of the rooftop pool and bar. It was a shame it closed at 6pm though this may reflect the off-season visit being that it was October. All-in-all an overwhelmingly positive experience. We had breakfast one of the mornings and there was plenty of variety from continental to cooked breakfast. Thank you Hotel Valentina for our amazing stay! Highly recommend to others visiting"

QAWRA Palace Resort & SPA

Malta Marriott Resort & Spa

10/10 Excellent

"Fantastic location. Walked from the hotel to Valletta. Hotel staff were amazing and helped us organise tours, taxis etc. Everything we needed. The evening reception they invited us to was lovely and it was great to meet the staff team in a relaxed environment. We’ll definitely be going back to the Marriott and Malta. So much more to see and do. 😎"

"Room was cleaned every day. View from the balcony was amazing just a tiny bit small to maneuver around it. Staff were lovely. Ideal location in shopping mall with lots of shops and places to eat. Right opposite Paceville. Will definitely go back!"

"Really cannot fault this resort. Beautiful setting, great location, such helpful and attentive staff and great food. All-in-all an excellent half-term October week’s holiday."
