"What a lovely experience to be in a restored 11th century castle. The restaurant has a limited menu but you will not be disappointed. Everything is homemade including pastas and local cheese production. Italian meats are made during the slow season by the workers at the hotel. The view of the valley from the back door of the dining room is spectacular. This is a hidden jewel in Calabria. "

Our hotel was wonderful, impeccably maintained, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, offering great tips and recommendations. The breakfast was excellent, served in a cozy room filled with art pieces, homemade cakes, and a brilliant selection of food. We hope to return and explore more of this beautiful area."

"The owner was very helpful in responding to us. We enjoyed the quiet location where we could relax and do laundry when we weren't spending time with our friends nearby. We did bring our own toilet paper to supplement what was left in the house and we paid a bit extra to have bedding and towels provided. All in all, it was a very desirable location. Our children liked the proximity to a beach and the nearby market."
