"Clean. Quiet. Felt safe. Managers are on site, and professional. Well maintained swimming pool and jacuzzi. Hard wood flooring in the room gave it a clean, spacious feel. This hotel is an older motel, but has been updated with modern amenities such as flat screen t.v., built in charging port at lamp area, and backlit bathroom mirror with mirror defogger. Our room smelled fresh. Nice linens. Good pillows. You can tell they try to keep things clean, I even saw a maintenance man cleaning the parking lot and upstairs walk way area. Even though it is an older hotel, the price was right and we chose to stay here over the higher-priced, newer hotel next door. Would absolutely stay here again."

"The Avenue Inn is nicely located on the south end of the main road into town, easily walkable. The rooms were upgraded a couple years ago, but still hold a nice charm and cleanliness (especially the showers). Nice to have fridge and microwave in the room. Parking is relatively easy with no extra charge. "
