We did not use the tub or the pool. The room is clean but I think ut needs renovation. There is a smell characteristic of old building (musty?). The staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful.

The rooms were clean, the pool was clean, the front desk guy was very friendly while checking me in. I thought it was a pretty good experience all the way around for what we paid. We'll probably only be staying here from now on when vacationing on the coast.

The room was clean and beds and pillows were very comfortable. The staff was all very nice and helpful. They have a fitness room in a cute cottage like bldg. They also have a laundry room that we used because we unexpectedly tipped our kayak in moro bay so I was able to get change and laundry soap to wash our clothes. We will definitely be staying there again. Thank you

We loved the location of this property! Short drive to the downtown area and easy access to the freeway. The staff was very friendly during our stay. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable! Would definitely stay here again.

Loved our one night stay. About a mile from Cal Poly SLO and downtown SLO. Employees were very nice and room was nothing fancy, but just what we needed. A bit bummed there was no fridge but I improvised with ice. Beds were comfy and place was quiet. Breakfast in the morning was cpffee, tea, oatmeal and pastries.

Our 1st time there. Unfortunately there was no bar of soap for the restroom, no remote control for the TV, and the landline phone to the front desk stopped working “Hot” breakfast is a hot water dispenser for instant oatmeal packets. On the plus side, the jacuzzi and pool were open (until 11pm) and the night front desk clerk was very pleasant, and the staff was attentive when I brought these topics to their attention.

Dear Hotel Buena Vista Management Team, We recently stayed at your hotel and booked three rooms in total. Unfortunately, one of the rooms — Room 327 — was located right next to the highway and was extremely noisy throughout the entire night. The noise was so severe that the four of us staying in that room were unable to sleep at all. This situation caused us significant discomfort and exhaustion, and it seriously affected our schedule the next day. Providing guests with a quiet and restful environment is a basic expectation of any hotel, but Room 327 clearly failed to meet that standard. Therefore, we are strongly requesting a full refund for Room 327 due to the unacceptable noise conditions. Please respond as soon as possible and let us know how the refund will be processed.
