Check in was fine. The gentleman who helped check in was just fine. From the outside of our room we could see the curtain was shredded. The room didn’t seem dirty, but it felt a bit dirty and had a strong bleach smell. One of the lamp shades had a hole in it, the lamp between the two beds was wobbly. The beds felt fine, pillows were firm. The bathroom wasn’t dirty but it needs some love.
The pool seemed clean, but anywhere there was tile on the floor of the pools it was broken. Didn’t use the hot tub, the structure around it looks like it’s barely holding on. No towels at the pool, I asked one of the housekeepers for towels, she gave us 3 for our family of four, one of the towels was torn in the middle (perhaps it was meant to match the drapes).
The walls are thin, so you’ll never feel alone. In the middle of the night on a trip to the bathroom I was greeted by a roach. I’ve lived in Florida, so he didn’t scare me, but I wasn’t surprised to see him.
For the money, this was a lousy stay. But it was shelter and a swim. Parking was free and close. But if you are debating between this place or someplace a wee bit more costly, go ahead and pay more to stay elsewhere. The reviews on here were mixed but the overall score was “good” so perhaps good might not be enough.
The room was overly scented, as if trying to cover odd smells. Poor lighting, uncomfortable bed and bottom sheet did not cover the mattress, curtains dirty and did not close all the way. Dirty doors, wall and shower floor.
If all you want is to lay your head. This is your spot. Do not expect a warm welcome from the man behind the front desk. If the bare minimum is what you want, this is the place. It’s worth the price at $97 a night. Walkable to near by restaurants.
Breakfast is not included as marketed, room is clean and parking is included but there was some cons. Coffee maker is there but no access to water, creamer or sugar. Lights were dim and bathroom faucet was detached. Needs some maintenance, Would not stay here again.
I would not stay here if I were you the staff is extremely rude and also the TV was broken. There was stains on the sheets. The shower was extremely rundown and it was a horrible experience overall. And when I tried to cancel my stay, he said I can’t and then I told him OK. I will stay I guess and he said is this the last complaint I’m going to hear from you tonight. Go at your own risk.
Room wasn’t dirty at first sight but after moving blankets the sheets were stained, bathroom was dirty had mold stains, carpet was black like it’s never been deep cleaned. Place is very noisy. The guy that checked us in had a horrible attitude. Only “good” thing was the pool.
It was good. Remote didn't work for one of the rooms. The soap dispenser in bathroom by sink it too high for kids to wash hands. Blow dryer didn't work. Other than that It is a good place to stay.

Disliked: Staff & service
Very basic, fine what we needed but didn't feel it was worth the price to stay there.
This is just one of the old school hotels, where you park in front of your door. No fancy lobby. No restaurant. Nothing. Just a small, old, room to sleep in. Perfect for what I needed. It was clean and the bed was comfy. No frills.
The minor downside is that the walls are thin, the floors squeek...so you can hear people and them walking around. But it's fine. I didn't stay here to be at a resort. Perfect for that parameter.
I wish I could include a picture of the disgusting hot tub that looked like it had never been cleaned, or the dilapidated furniture that surrounded the back end of the pool area.
The room itself was fine
One star listed only because there are no negative stars, in reality this is a *negative* 5 star property. From the totally unhelpful staff with attitudes like you are inconveniencing them, defensiveness and argumentativeness, to the peeling and chipped paint, to the stained lamp that didn't even work, to the torn curtains, to the dead crickets in the bathroom, to the minuscule pool with broken furniture, the property was a total disappointment. We stayed during Cal poly graduation and the over $400 a night that we paid was ludicrous. We had four rooms and all were equally decrepit. The shower handle on my sister-in-law's shower fell off at 11 o'clock at night, and feeling worried about bothering staff, she washed her daughter's hair in the sink. When this was mentioned to staff in the morning, all they had to say was, "nobody called us," without even an apology. The tone of the staff member was like it was our fault. Unbelievably terrible property and service. Embarrassing. Will never ever stay there again. Recommend steering clear.
Property was clean but could use a facelift. Quiet. Beds were hard and AC didn’t seem to work. View of the mountains behind the hotel were beautiful. Small updates and changes could make this place a lot better. Overall I would recommend if the price was right.
The manager was always available if we had any questions or any additional needs. The room was clean and the location was very convenient, especially for the outstanding price.
During check in, the lobby was hot and stuffy and it smelled like a kitchen. As we drove through the parking lot toward our room, we noticed that a screen door was torn, as well as some room curtains. When we entered our room, it was hot and the carpet was dark and appeared matted down and dirty. The lampshades were stained and one was torn. The privacy curtains could not close in the middle, so someone had made a hole in each one and used a folded piece of paper to tie them together. There was a thick layer of dust on the bathroom door jamb. The coffee pot had a used coffee pack in the filter basket. The air conditioner unit was under the bathroom sink so the airflow was poor. The bed was cheap and uncomfortable and we did not sleep well. When we tried to check out at 6am, the lobby was closed and the front desk did not answer our call. When we called the advertised phone number, the person who answered said it was a personal phone and not the hotel. So we had to check out after our work day, and the same man who checked us in, said that we had to pay for 2 extra nights. He claimed to Expedia that we did not call them and allow them an opportunity to address our complaints and make it better.
Motel is dirty, food left overs in fridge from previous guest, dirty towels, stained and smelly bed sheets, no hot water, no AC working but have portable electric fan in the room for use, Indian receptionist rude and will try to rip you off and overcharge you. Bad overall experience with this motel, not recommend to any travelers. Better off find a better hotel in the area with better reviews and recommendations.
