On a cobbled street in the sleepy town of Garachico, Hotel San Roque offers a truly unique experience for those wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of resorts, and stay in boutique comfort. This is a perfect paradise getaway! The beautiful grounds,the gorgeous weather, it is absolutely removed from the noise and hustle of the world, and I felt totally refreshed and renewed at the end of our trip. The staff were exceptional. We had a complication in our arrival, and accommodations were immediately made for us. The hotel staff is very welcoming. The hotel is relatively small, has a local flavor, is very well maintained and very nice. The buffet breakfast has a wide variety of food. The hotel room is not large, but it is confortable. Location is great, across from the town`s beach and pool. There are many restaurants close by. Overall this hotel has everything that you should expect from a local hotel.

Spotlessly clean, helpful staff, nice pool. Location very close to beautiful seaside walks which also lead to seaside cafes. Reasonable price as well. If you don’t want to go out to eat they offer a plentiful buffet for ER 17 with health choices although veggies overcooked ( salad available) and not much seasoning in the food. Nevertheless convenient and value for price .

I really liked this place, despite some eccentricities. Estrella del Norte is run by a few generations of a Canarian family, and feels like a family-run establishment. The building is somewhat dated, but boasts fantastic views both ways, of the sea and nearby Teide volcano. They keep it spotlessly clean, and are very welcoming. This hotel is located away from the crowdy parts of Tenerife.Huge,spacious rooms they offer and the bed size was also exceptional.the staff was really nice. It is a 5 star hotel indeed.

The perfect place to stay and eat in a beautiful, historic town! Would have stayed another night, but the hotel was booked.

Overall our experience was good, you need to be prepared to take a taxi or walk about 30 to 40 minutes to the center of the attractions., like cafe, restaurants, beach, etc.

Super clean. Well maintained. Great Bkfst. Stayed for 5 nights and certainly would come again
