"The reception and service staff were very friendly, helpful, and kind. The rooms are clean and very spacious. I was delighted to learn that Pope Saint John Paul II slept in this place when it was still a religious site. If you are looking for a luxury hotel, this is not for you. If you want a place that is clean, comfortable and offers peace and tranquility near Perugia, Assisi, Spoleto, Spello, … this place is perfect! It also has parking on site."

"I visited La Macerine with my wife and a couple of friends. The property is beautiful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, I met Stefano who was a terrific host, very helpful and pleasant! The location on the lake is just a beautiful setting. I highly recommend for anyone touring in this part of Tuscany and Umbria."
