This hotel doesn't deserve a 4-star rating. At most two and a half. The rooms are missing standard items like hair conditioner, shower caps, Q-tips, etc. Furthermore, soap and shampoo are locked like in a cheap motel. It was very hard to get anything out of the bottle. The hotel does not have parking or any valet/bellhops services. In-room coffee service does not offer even a cheap creamer. There is mold in the shower stalls, and towels show their age. I could go on and on, but I hope the point gets across. I blamed Expedia for the miscategorization of this hotel.

We absolutely love our stay here. The staff were lovely, particularly Daniel & Lide. The room was fab (never quite worked out the light system! Ha ha) It’s in a perfect spot too, staggering distance from the main train station and just a hop across the bridge to the Maria Christina Hotel & the Old Town

Great location and nice small room. June at front desk was very nice and I got to check in early. Bar staff are terrible though. Two of the 3 times I went to the bar to order a drink they were busy but never once even acknowledged me. That all it would have needed. Instead both times I walked away and gave up. And saw them treat other guests the same way. Otherwise a nice place to stay.

I can’t think of a better property to acquaint yourself with San Sebastián, as it’s located within walking distance to pretty much everything, and very close to the vibrant nightlife of Gros (yet still in a relatively quiet area). The staff are marvelous and attentive, the breakfasts are spot-on, and the rooms are well-appointed. I’ll stay here again for sure. Recommended!
