"I would not recommend this hotel and this neighbourhood. It’s more like a Airbnb property. It’s located in a residential building at the level 2 with no lift in a very sketchy neighbourhood and the corridor is super dark (which I have to climb 2 flights of stairs with 5 big luggages, ground floor starts at level 0). The property has no air-conditioning, it’s unbearable in summer in Italy with temp of 30 degrees. We were given one fan to share only. The only advantage is super near the Seravalle outlet (6-8 minutes by car, not walkable by foot) and the host is super nice. Even the parking is free but with some many restriction. You can’t park at certain hours on Monday, Sunday and Tuesday. I would suggest to stay some other city that’s nearer to the outlet or do a day trip from Milan or Genova. "

"We loved our stay at this untouristic but friendly town home to Gavi wine, which we love. The hotel is very centrally located in the main parking square with free parking right in front. Our room was large and splotlessly clean with great aircon. Breakfast was reasonably priced with lots of home made things and excellent cappuccinos. We loved that everything was within walking distance including the very cool castle which has English tours. The wine bar opposite also has a restaurant round the corner, where you can have a lovely alfresco dinner. It is a shame more people don’t visit this great small town which is well situated for a break. We would happily stay again."

"My 2nd visit here. Love the area. So peaceful despite being not far from the motorway. A great stopping off point on the long route from the very south of Italy. Lovely food for dinner. Huge breakfast. Very friendly helpful staff My only negative comment, no more paper cups. A proper cup in the room for a hot drink and a glass for water in the bathroom. I highly recommend a stay here to explore the area."
