"Overall great time! Glen was super responsive and Jarrod was available to help with making our stay amazing!!! The homes were very comfortable and had all the amenities to cook for our group. Two hot tubes was great for evening soaks and the kids loved the pool. One suggestion would be to request outside furniture to be cleaned up prior to your arrival. This place has beautiful scenery and was the perfect location for our family getaway!! From adults to small children, the homes are very accommodating. The gates gave everyone peace of mind to keep the small children in one area."

"Great property to get away from it all. The house was very clean and surprisingly big. The kids loved watching all the birds coming in to the feeders and walking around looking for lizards. You can't beat the mountain views at sunrise and sunset. Perfect base for exploring the Portal/Rodeo area."

"The guest suite at the Crossed J Ranch was the ideal place to stay for our Memorial Day weekend getaway to the Chiricahua National Monument and surrounding area. The studio was quite spacious and had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The hosts were wonderful and had the place stocked with a dozen fresh eggs, butter, filtered water, condiments, spices, etc. Staying on a working ranch was a truly delightful and unique experience. We enjoyed learning about the history of the area and seeing a bit of it in the "mini museum" right on the ranch. We also loved watching the birds, wild turkeys, and cows, and stars from the front porch of the guest house. Unless you are camping, you really can't stay any closer to Chiricahua NM as it's just a few minutes drive from the park entrance. If you want to get away from it all and don't mind packing meals for the duration of your stay, I highly recommend staying here. We certainly look forward to returning."
