"This is a lovely hotel for relaxing & enjoying peace & tranquility of Salento The rooms are spacious lovely & super comfy beds & well cleaned every day The restaurant has a daily menu & food is great quality, my wife is Vegan and the staff & Chef made dinners for her every night!! "What a gem of a find, it started with the excellent & timely communication from the hotel staff. The staff are amazing, so happy, friendly and welcoming Upon arrival we were greeted in the street and walked into the hotel, by a very friendly staff member. We then discovered a very clean, very Italian styled, lots of cool marble, and cactus, a beautiful hotel. Rooms are cool with aircon. As celebrating our first wedding anniversary they had thoughtfully decorated our room, with a personalised message, balloons, rose petals, a beautiful fresh bouquet and bottle of fizz in an ice bucket. Beds were very comfy, and the quiet location gave a good nights sleep. Shower and bathroom are clean and bright. breakfast was fresh and plentiful. A huge array offered. What a great stay would happily stay here again-thank you"

" This is not a Grand hotel in the sense of the Danieli or Excelsior, however, that is probably because they choose not to have a restaurant, even though they put out a sumptuous breakfast and have a commercial kitchen and plenty of staff. Our room had filthy old green carpeting, but we noticed in the long hallway that some rooms have modern wood flooring, which is much more sanitary I don't know why we weren't given the upgrade since we are hotel gold members. The only other issue was the parking which we tried to reserve well in advance, but was unavailable, which was disappointing since we have a brand new Mercedes-Benz . The staff was very pleasant and the bathroom was spacious and had the best shower of our trip. Overall, it was good value for the money and it's probably one of the better hotels in Lecce."
