"Quite possibly the most dishonest hotel I've stayed at.
Whilst it's beautiful and serene, with a lovely beach, please be warned of some of the practices deployed by staff.
We booked an airport transfer upon arrival: the driver arrived at the exact time of us landing (which cabbie does this??) and we were charged a wait time. There was no allowance made for customs or luggage. Very cheap tactic.
They also tried to charge an extra night city tax, which we had not occupied the hotel.
We tried to take a late check out in lieu of missing our first night: given that is low season and the hotel was almost empty, you'd think they'd show some good will.
No: they wanted to charge €120 for us to stay in our room until 5pm.
Food is very average. It's a relaxing resort, but the mentality to fleece guests is disgusting. It wouldn't happen in Greece!
I'd avoid this island and the resort based on the hotel staff and taxi driver's behaviour, as one receptionist agreed with me that their approach was a cultural issue/nuance."
