Giovanni's father's home is situated on a hill overlooking miles of vineyards. Sitting at the large round tiled table under a canopy gazing at the landscape with your breakfast, wine, whatever, is positively idyllic. Despite being only 15 minutes from the Adriatic and the many seaside restaurants, and a short drive to welcoming hill towns and vineyards, all you hear are birds and the distant hum of tractors and cars.
The core of the house is very old, but the kitchen has modern appliances and is well equipped. The living/dining room is large and comfortable (and, besides, you want to spend all your time outside). The staircase to the bedrooms is a small spiral. The two bedrooms are large, nicely furnished with large, screened windows with expansive views.
The pool and outdoor equipment are perfect . Giovanni could not be a better host.
