"When we first arrived this property was idyllic, great location, tranquil and relaxing with a wonderful pool. Unfortunately, the day after we arrived a large group of families with young children took over the property in contravention of the owners policies allowing dogs in the pool, smoking by the pool and children under 11 taking over a tranquil pool and surrounding garden. The owners did nothing to enforce their written policies on these matters and were dismissive of concerns raised by other guests."

"We had a lovely stay at Santa Lucia Boutique Hotel. All staff were very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was great, they had many options. We also ordered room service and the food was amazing! The hotel and room were very clean and tidy. We had a lovely view and the area was very calming and quiet. We didn’t use the pool as we went to the beach, but the pool looked nice. There is car parking available which is very handy. Looking forward to coming back!"

"This is the first place I've stayed where the property was even better than the photos. This place is beautiful and in a quiet village. You really felt like you are living like one of the locals. Neighbours were really friendly and said hello. Arrived late (1am) so the property manager Toni hid a key for us. Ceiling fans in every room. A large fan in the living room kept us cool. The bedrooms had air con which we used at bed time and it worked very well. Operates via a coin slot next to the front door (cost approx 2 euros a night for all 3 bedrooms).Washing machine and dishwasher so we brought detergent and dishwasher tabs. Also brought salt, pepper, some cooking oil and bin liners. Plenty towels provided, plus dish cloths and tea towels. Supermarket Loras at the end of the road was well stocked but quite expensive. Lidl is 5 minutes drive away. Plenty parking outside the property. Nearby Xlendi is just gorgeous. We spent a lot of time there during the day swimming and snorkelling and went there to eat a couple of evenings. Ferry back and forth from Malta is so straight forward. Just turn up and drive on. We never waited long and it runs 24/7. You only buy a ticket when you take the ferry back to Malta. Highly recommend a trip to the blue hole, Marsalforne, the citadel, popeyes, ghadir beach, valetta (and war rooms). Ooh and a boat trip to the blue lagoon. Try Amazing boat trips Malta, from st pauls bay Malta, and have lunch at Federicos kiosk beforehand. "

"The showers are powerful, the pool is deeper at one end, bbq was handy, the bolt taxis are a (mainly) reliable service, rooms great size, quiet area, local restraunts were good, easy enough to get ferry over to main island, supermarket greens Gozo had everything we needed, overall the villa was good for us. The host was very good with responding to us quickly. "

"We had a great week staying at the villa. The property was exactly as described and pictured – very spacious and all the bedrooms well-appointed with good sized ensuites. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t too warm while we were there, so we braved the outdoor pool like a cold plunge, which meant the indoor pool felt like a bath in comparison. The indoor pool was a big hit and definitely a highlight. Maureen was an excellent host and answered all our questions swiftly. When we mentioned that the oven wasn’t heating properly, she had it replaced the next day, without any fuss. She was also happy for us check-out at 3pm as our flight was late.The area was quiet during our trip as we were early in the Season, but the walk to the coast is easy and the views of the Sanap Cliffs are stunning. "

"I had another enjoyable stay bringing back good memories of previous visits. Just sad the pool was closed off for repair. Also they have still not put a holding rail to the wall for when in shower."

"A fabulous family run hotel with gorgeous views of xlendi. Wonderful pools and breakfast every morning and very easy to walk to town to purchase groceries or go to restaurants. Easy enough to hire a car or cab to get around Gozo but far enough away from the noise that you feel like you can actually relax. "
