"Hundred percent recommend staying with Arthur at his lovely property which was built by a famous French pastry chef. Extremely clean, parking on site for free and comfortable common spaces to linger, The included breakfast is delicious including croissants, bread, homemade apricot jam, fresh fruit, local yogurt. This is a very good location for visiting Giverny – Claude Monet. Host is gracious and friendly and communicative. Highly recommend!"

"We really enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for our family of 5. Although a little of route it was a stop off on our way to La Rochelle. We found this a great restful break and a great start to our holiday. I’ve bases it all 5 stay on the price of the stay £140 for a family of 5. We had the 3 bedroom accomadtion and it had everything we needed. It is dated, but all in all a good stopping point for us as this is always difficulty for a family of 5."

"The accommodations in the old mill are fabulous! Updated rooms with antique furnishings. Heat and AirCon. Lovely sound of the weir. I requested a "river view room if possible" and got the best room on the premises! The grounds are well tended & include riverside dining, lawns, sun deck, hot tub, and a tiny sauna with a river view. Excellent for a getaway holiday. Having a car or a bicycle would increase the options for activities and dining. Tho the hotel chef is top notch and the food excellent. Breakfast was also good with many choices."

"A beautiful place and the host was a really lovely lady. My only issue is that the bathroom is a seperate room down the corridor. (Which is beautifully decorated). There's nothing they can do, but it was a disappointment when I found out."
