"Good position close to the sea front restaurants and shopping mall. Room was roomy clean with coffee/ tea and water provided daily. Free toiletries. Swimming pool was clean with sun beds and towels. Breakfast had a good selection both Asian and European."

"I found all the staff very helpful. The location is good for Orangutan, Sun Bears and the Rain Forest. The only elemwnt that was poor was I needed to amend my booking via Expedia and I still ended up being charged for one additional night, the cost was minimal, but that's not the point."

"the room was dirty, couldn't see out of the windows for dirt and the surfaces were covered in dust. Panels were falling off the lift and the carpets were badly worn. It looked like the place was in the midst of a large restoration so things might improve. It's in a good location close to the waterfront and there is a very good restaurant on the top floor. Staff were very helpful. Might be worth looking at in six months time but certainly not at the moment"
