"Great hotel in the centre of Stranraer. Large room and bathroom very comfy bed and pillows. Excellent customer service from all staff. Good cooked breakfast. The only negative I would offer is that the bedroom was too hot."

"Helensdale is a fantastic place to stay. The views from the living room are incredible, I always take binoculars with me wherever I go as I enjoy bird watching (there are some binoculars in the property) and looking out on the bay was fantastic. I saw an array of birds and even managed to see 2 seals ..."
