"Management at breakfast left a lot to be desired. When we arrived, no one was there to greet us. The only staff member was engaged in a heated conversation with another guest. There was no milk for the cereal. No spoons either! Coffee pot had run out. Family sized kettle was supplying a dining room of about 20 people. Bread was in short supply. Basically under staffed. "This B&B is close to main network and easy to find. Absolutely spotless room and the most comfortable bed ever! Very accommodating hostess who cooked me a delicious evening meal and a massive well cooked breakfast, despite my dietary needs (please let her know before you stay and nothing is too much trouble!) An exciting place to come home to after a long day.
"Perfect for a family gathering of 20 people. It’s about a 15-20 min walk to/from the train station and grocery store (we did it a couple times), but I’d recommend a cab or a rental car to get around. The best part of the trip was the excitement of returning to the house after a long day of adventures, and hearing the constant laughter of the children running up and down the halls while playing hide and seek in their very own castle. So much to do both inside and outside the house. Looking forward to visiting again."
