"Very nice room, very nice staff - decent food at Woody’s Pub attached to the hotel.
Stayed in a building separate to the main hotel, but that was comfy and recently renovated. Would absolutely stay here again!
Also, watched a black bear gallop across a schoolyard just across from our front door balcony/walkway around sundown."
"I only stayed overnight traveling but the room was excellent, very clean. The parking lot was full but it was quiet and when I checked in the gentleman working the desk was super polite. Would definitely recommend."
Big Bird Inn Wawa, SureStay Collection by Best Western
10/10 Excellent
"I stayed a few hotels for this trip, but Big Bird Wawa was an Inn, and it was the best of the bunch.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable. Shower temperature was just right. The dining area was so nice. The breakfast was perfect. It offered regular breakfast fare, but it had hot items, which some of the continental breakfasts don’t. There was hot sausages, pastries, coffee, tea. I wasn’t able to have breakfast fully as I had to get on the road quickly. But what I had, hit the spot.
I would definitely stay at Big Bird Wawa again and I would recommend it to friends/family. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. "
"Algoma motel was convenient, clean, cute and cozy. The decor was dated but that added to its charm.
The bed was comfortable and we slept well.
A bonus was that our Bernedoodle was welcome at no extra charge.
The homemade muffins were yummy!"
