"The owner was so welcoming and kind. It is a very rustic place which I feel is the charm. Think 80’s Canadiana cabin. You have every thing you need. It’s clean and cozy. It was the perfect place to stay to enjoy autumn hikes and warm fires at night."

"The east cabin was great! You almost feel like you’re camping since we cooked a lot outside, although you have all the creature comforts inside including a cozy bed and the amazing sauna. Would definitely recommend a couple days here to anyone!"

"This cozy cottage right on the water in a quiet bay was perfect for a solo getaway! Definitely could accommodate a family of four, but four adults might be a little too cozy:) The cottage had pretty much had everything you needed, or may have forgotten to bring! Grounds were well manicured and complete with a volleyball court. I was looking for a fall retreat, and it was beautiful! Robynne answered all my questions promptly. I imagine in the summer, swimming in the beautiful sandy & shallow lake would be ideal for all ages. Everything was in good condition and clean. I would go again:)"

"Overall the property was good. There were things that were not noted in the original listing that may be helpful to travellers coming in. The water is not drinkable and you need to bring your own drinking water. The garbage and recycle removal is the responsibility of the renter, and you are charged if you do not bring the garbage to the garbage disposal site. This proved to be very inconvenient for us. There is plenty of towels, kitchen cookware and dishes, cutlery and other useful kitchen gadgets and tools. If you are planning on cooking you have everything you need. The lighting is not great in the bedroom lamp. There were not other lightbulbs in the rental unit. If you use a lamp, pack a couple bulbs. The hot tub was lovely. The property is lovely, great access to the water, the dock and firepit were both awesome."

"We had a wonderful stay at this cottage in Barry's Bay. The view was absolutely stunning, and the property was incredibly private and peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway.The cottage was spotless upon arrival and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was especially well-equipped for families with children, with plenty of amenities that made traveling with kids easy and enjoyable. Our daughter was obsessed with the zipline our entire stay! We appreciated the use of the boat and kayaks! Communication with our host was super easy. Instructions for the cottage were readily accessible and super helpful. The public beach and the fry-shack just down the road were amazing gems to discover. We also appreciated the firewood for our campfires!If you're looking for a quiet retreat with beautiful scenery and all the comforts of home, this cottage is an excellent choice. We would happily stay here again, in fact, we're eagerly waiting for an opening to book next summer!"
