Nestled on a quiet street, featuring quaint, Olde Florida island homes, you'll feel like you've gone back to a simpler place and time. You'll feel as if you've always known this place as your home away from home.
Yes, it's that special. This elevated home sustained very little damage during Ian and has been completely re-landscaped and looks beautiful.

Seagull Estates features 58 homes, a community clubhouse, outdoor heated pool, two tennis/pickleball courts and a deeded beach access. Whether you join a water aerobics or gardening class, bike the 26.1 miles of shared use paths and explore the conservation lands and the wildlife that make our islands unique or head for a nearby beach access that will have you strolling or shelling along the sugar sand beach, you'll enjoy your stay in this hidden gem island neighborhood.

With 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, an expansive screened porch, spacious back yard and covered parking, Great Egret Cottage s ideal for island entertaining during your stay. Whether you invite family, friends or neighbors to stop by, you'll enjoy the layout and the view of the newly planted lush, tropical trees and other flora.

The main living level is where you will find the living room, dining area, kitchen, laundry, half-bath and the primary en-suite. The two guest bedrooms and a guest bath are on the second level.

The living and dining areas have French doors looking out to the screened lanai and back yard, where you'll enjoy seeing the colors of sunset across the tree tops.

The living area seats 8, and there is an additional sitting area with two club chairs that is perfect for settling in with a book, coffee, or cocktails.

The dining area also seats 6 - 8 comfortably and you can easily enjoy the beautiful colors of sunrise and sunset beyond the screened porch while you enjoy meals.

The kitchen is fully-equipped with everything you need for an extended stay, with an adjacent laundry room.

The primary bedroom is on the main living level, and it has a King bed, en-suite bath with a tub, water closet and shower. There is a flat panel Smart TV, plenty of storage and closet space for your personal items, and you'll enjoy the colors of sunrise peeking through the French doors.

The bathroom features a dual sink vanity, soaking tub, and a walk-in shower with a seamless door. The adjacent walk-in closet provides plenty of storage for your clothing.

Upstairs, the 2nd guest bedroom has a Queen bed, while the 3rd bedroom features 2 Twin beds. Both bedrooms have a Smart TV and share a guest bathroom with a single vanity and tub/shower.

Take a quick trip downstairs and you'll find the barbecue grill, beach chairs, and storage galore for your island beach toys and shells. With the beach being 3 driveways away, it's a quick hop-skip and a jump to the miles of sugar sand beaches and the Gulf of Mexico.

Great Egret Cottage is professionally managed by Cottages to Castles of Sanibel & Captiva. Since 1997, they've been making sure that each stay is a memorable one for families near and far, big and small.

Your non-shedding doggie (under 15 pounds) may be welcome at this property with prior approval of the Owner and Cottages to Castles. Payment of a non-refundable pet fee is required. The non-refundable fee is based on the length of your stay, and weight limit and breed restrictions may be applicable.

Failure to disclose a doggie in residence and/or visiting the property for non-overnight stays can result in eviction and forfeiture of all prepaid funds.

* Due to Hurricane Ian, construction noise and activity may occur throughout the area. Several Sanibel restaurants have reopened, and many shops remain closed or operate with limited hours
