Sanibel Delight

Our stay was lovely! Everything we needed such as beach toys, games, tools, kitchen utensils were there! It was spotless with a good view of the ocean and a large balcony!

Great Stay & Bargain!

The condo was fully stocked, even with everything you would need for the beach. The water is perfect for little ones, with smaller waves, about 3 1/2' deep out pretty far, and lots of cool shells. The condo was very clean.

Even Better in Person!

The unit was perfect for our stay. The view was beautiful, and the unit had everything we could need. Paula has seriously thought of everything. I have never stayed in such a well-appointed vacation home before. The resort where the property is located, is beautiful manicured - both the beach and pool are steps away. We definitely would like to stay again, just next time for longer!

Feels Like Home

This property was perfect for our family of 3. We have stayed at several properties at the Sundial Resort - all booked through VRBO type sites - and by far, this property offers the most as far as the amenities available (ie. bikes, beach toys, sun chairs, etc). Paula even has the unit stocked with the basics (salt, pepper, oil, coffee filters, laundry soap, etc) which is really nice! At some of the other properties we've stayed at, we've had to purchase these items. We look forward to staying here again!

Wonderful!

First time in sanibel and certainly won't be the last. Really beautiful island with lots to offer. The condo is lovely with great views of the ocean. It was like taking your house on holiday, beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. We used the bicycles to see the island and the beach to relax afterwards watching the dolphins and shell pickers. Paula is very helpful and generous with information, she was responsive frequently via email. Overall we had a wonderful 3 days in Sanibel my only regret was it wasn't longer so we will be back!

Sanibel Delight is delightful

Sanibel Delight was the perfect place for my daughter and I to stay on our trip to Sanibel. It was clean, spacious, and had everything you could possibly want from beach toys to a fully stocked kitchen! Did I mention the view! It was beautiful! I loved sitting out on the lani watching the ocean & hearing the sound of the surf. Paula was great to rent from. She was very responsive to any questions I had. She also had a book of info on the island that included restaurants, things to do, etc. My daughter loved the Sea School that was offered at the resort and the Island cow had an amazing breakfast! Hope to be back some day!

A Delightful Rental

Sanibel Delight was a true delight. The one bedroom condo was spacious and clean. The owner provides linens and towels along with beach towels for your use. The condo looks out over the Atlantic Ocean and a breeze can be enjoyed on the screened in porch. The condo owner also provides bicycles for your enjoyment. Beach chairs, a wagon, beach umbrellas and shelling tools were also available for our us. We strongly recommend renting from this owner. She is very helpful to her renters and worked with us on meeting our specific needs.

Beautiful, clean, location is perfect

Our experience this past week at Sanibel Delight was amazing. Our family of 4 enjoyed the condo and everything it had to offer. We listened to the waves each night as we fell asleep, ran on the beach each morning, rode the bikes, went shelling and enjoyed the very heated pool! We did not need to contact Paula as we had no issues, but she sent an email to check in and make sure everything was okay. We took advantage of the binder she left us to help us choose restaurants and know that when we go back we will stock up with food at the local market held on Sunday. It was delicious and if we hadn't stocked up on food to prepare for meals before we entered the island, we would have done it there. Thank you Sanibel Delight for a great vacation!

The condo was bright, open and inviting.

My husband and I made this our 40th anniversary trip. What a wonderful choice. We especially enjoyed being able to open extra wide sliding glass doors in both with living area and bedrooms to hear the ocean sounds and feel the ocean breeze. We could see the ocean from most any place in the condo, even in the bathroom mirror. We enjoyed the screened in lanai. Paula had everything we needed in her condo from kitchen utensils to beach chairs and towels. We even rode bicycles together for the first time In our married life, Thanks to Paula’s provision. We enjoyed the many walks on the shell covered beach. Paula provided a terrific place for our beach experience.

Thanksgiving Week 2020

Mom and I stayed at Paula's Sanibel Delight- and it was very delightful. Upon entry, it was clean and bright. The weather was perfect every single day for our stay. We couldn't have asked for anything more. We opted to cook our meals for a couple nights and eat out the others- all the basics were there and available. I would suggest that if you have any particular gadgets that you prefer in your own kitchen, bring. (For example: food chopper, garlic press, immersion blender, or a "favorite" knife)-- I didn't *need* any of these, just saying,... but you are on vacation/break/holiday,... go out! .... Mom slept in the bedroom, I used the murphy bed. Easy to use, and comfortable. I loved that she was able to wake up early and go out on the balcony from the bedroom without using the sliders in the living room. The view was more than I expected--- we loved watching the birds dive in the water!!! The beach was also a short walk from the building. ...We loved it!!!! Paula is also very quick to reply with any questions/concerns/comments. I definitely would return. ~Tara

Great place to stay!

I concur with all these positive reviews on Sanibel Delight! It was .....delightful :) This condo has everything that is needed and more. We discovered while staying there that not all condos have a storage unit (like Paula's). It holds the wonderful bikes and beach equipment...others we saw were lugging equipment up and down (but not us!) You know how you never have sharp knives in a place you rent? Well, Paula had a knife sharpener! The view was magnificent, the place clean and well equipped, but the best part is the personal aspect that Paula provides. The day before we were to arrive, she called to say the elevator was out (not her fault!) and would not be fixed until the day after we arrived. She wanted to know if that would be a problem for us. Then she was in touch with the condo Association to make sure it was fixed. (It was.) We were there the week after Labor Day and discovered that this is a wonderful time to visit Sanibel--no one is there and you have the beautiful pool to yourself. Or the other 3 pools. Or the beach. The downside was that some of the restaurants were closed--but there were still plenty of places to eat. But that meant no wait lines or traffic. Probably our very favorite restaurant was Jacarunda....we went there our first night when we arrived hungry and had not read "the book" that Paula provides. We didn't realize it had linen tablecloths or we might not have gone...looking for something more "beachy." But oh my--the food was great and entrees were NOT more expensive than other places. And you didn't have to dress up. All in all, Sanibel Delight is great place to stay! We highly recommend it!

Perfect getaway!

My husband and I loved our stay at Sanibel Delight. The property was perfect for our needs, clean and well supplied. We took advantage of the bikes as well, they were perfect for exploring around. Best of all, the distance to the beach cannot be beaten! Lastly, Paula is a great hostess, very communicative and helpful. We’re definitely looking to go back!!

Just Amazing

This unit is very nice, well appointed, and well stocked. Anything you need for the beach is provided, it made our stay more comfortable. And the VIEW, just amazing! You can’t go wrong with the easy access to the beach, it’s so close you can come back to the unit for anything you need within two minutes. And it’s centrally located to all the great spots on Sanibel. This will be our go-to place from now on.The owner is very friendly and communicative, a true pleasure to work with.

Room with a view

Fantastic stay at this extremely clean, comfortable condo with everything you could possibly want. The view from the living room, bedroom and balcony was beautiful and it was so relaxing listening to the gulf waves. We had the use of bicycles, chairs, umbrellas, coolers and even a wagon to cart your items to the beach. Miles of uncrowded beautiful beaches with lots of shells. Great location to restaurants and sightseeing. Paula the host was quick to answer any questions. We will definitely book here again. Great experience!
