Clear, straightforward architecture, shaped by the spirit of Le Corbusier. Created in the 70s ..... but also if you look at the age in some details, the complex is well-kept and both the swimming pool / sauna / fitness area and the rest of the buildings have already been extensively renovated.

***The place***
The idyllic Sankt Englmar is easy to reach from the A3 and is beautifully situated at 800m near the peaks of Predigtstuhl and Pröller. There are various shops (large EDEKA, bakery, butcher, sports / clothing stores, gas station, savings bank) as well as cafes, an ice cream parlor and restaurants. In the middle of the village is a spa park with a children's playground, animal enclosures and a pleasantly clean bathing pond.
Also in the middle of the village, the "Bayerwald Xperium" adventure museum awaits visitors who love to discover

*** The surrounding area ***
Sankt Englmar and the Bavarian Forest are a family vacation dream for every season!
In summer:

***The arrival***
- Arriving by car is the easiest: on the A3 to "Bogen" or "Schwarzach", then another 15 minutes on well-developed roads to Sankt Englmar.
- Take the train to Straubing train station, then take bus 15 or a taxi directly to the holiday paradise.
