"Only 3 months old, everything was new, modern and clean. But the service and meals were exceptional. Full breakfast with creative list of eggs Benedict style options including a local one. The 3 course dinners also included local fare and were excellent. Also full bar with local made schnapps and extensive list of fantastic Slovenian wines. The service was also very efficient, relaxed and friendly so that we could engage the staff in conversation. The setting is a beautiful green farm village next to the local church and a bell tower that pealed throughout the day )but not all night). Hotel is in Sgornje Gorje, a short hike downhill to Lake Bled but far from the crowds around the lake. We were able to hike down to and around Lake Bled and up to the castle and back up to hotel. The area is green, hilly, surrounded by the alps and the sounds of active farms. Very picturesque. "

"Friendly helpful staff. Beautiful clean room with a pretty view. Close to all that I wanted to see. Peaceful, no shops or cafes but all you needed was at the hotel. Ample selection of food. Lovely place"

"Very clean. The bathroom was nicely equipped. Has a locked storage cupboard that can fit a bag and belongings. Comes with a towel. Bed is pretty comfortable but very very noisy. Bring ear plugs. Area is super cute but not walkable. You can bike to Lake Bled. No kitchen or fridge. A fridge would be very helpful as eating out is very expensive in Bled. Hard to reach whoever works there especially when from a different country with no calling on phone. Only one other person even I stayed mud-September so wasn't a great hostel to meet people. "Our 2 nights at the hotel were amazing. We loved our balcony to relax and look out at the lake. So many shops & restaurants in walking distance. Our room was huge, so clean & very nice. "

"Take a room with a view. It is not directly in the city Centre but it is 10-30 minutes walk to all the shopping and restaurants. The amenities are great and the staff goes beyond . We had some laundry which was delivered within 4 hours which was just amazing. "
