The host keeps an eye on you ("you left the light on" "you came home late" etc), and gives you one million rules you have to even sign for, it's almost scary. The house if full of clutter and stuff and you can hardly walk, it is excessively hot and the promised fans were not there, we weren't allowed to use any or our...

"We had a wonderful stay. The pool was definitely the highlight for all of us - children & adults! We didn’t feel overlooked and it was fenced off when we weren’t using it which was reassuring with young children. The kitchen was fully equipped and the bbq was great. The location was also brilliant, near lovely beaches and only half hour by car from central Barcelona. Conxi met us on arrival despite speaking limited English, which was kind of her. She also posted us back one of my son’s toys...

"We stayed a week at the SLS Barcelona and loved it. The staff was great and very helpful with whatever we needed, whether it was something for the room, things to do in and around Barcelona and getting us dinner reservations. Emma and Raquel at the front desk/concierge were especially helpful and always willing to provide assistance or guidance whenever we needed as well as constantly checking up on us to see if there was anything we needed or anything they could do to make our stay better. It was a great experience and if I had a chance to go to Barcelona again I would definitely stay here again. "
