"Beautiful apartment incredibly close to great bars and restaurants, gorgeous architecture, and public transit. The 4th floor apartment requires walking up 6 flights of steep stairs (yes, I said six -- I counted every time I went up), which is hard if you're not in shape. So if you have a hard time with stairs, this might not be for you. Otherwise, it's lovely, surprisingly spacious, and perfectly located."

I did make the mistake of booking the stay when I saw it hosted 6 people and only clicked 4 on accident and the host was kind enough to let me pay for the additional guests. It was a lovely experience. My only surprise is that the host was staying at the villa on a lower level outside and I was not aware (it was not an issue at all). "Great place for our stay in Barcelona. Everything is within walking distance, restaurants, food stores, metro. Great fun walking to the beach for the sunrise over Barcelona. As was noted in other reviews it is a four story house so there are a lot of stairs but it was not a problem for us. May be an issue if you have a car because parking was at a premium but we used the metro everywhere we went. I would recommend this place and the area of Barceloneta for a stay in Barcelona."

"The suite was as it was described and depicted online. Clean, conveniently located, fully equipped with kitchen appliances, blow dryer and iron. Contact staff were friendly and reliable at check-in. There were many stairs to climb, which could be difficult if you have mobility issues, and some sewer gas smells at times, but over all, we were very happy with our choice.
