"A nice new place to stay in Telchac. Very local Mexican little town. Great clean beach nearby. The pool in this hotel was dirty with sunscreen floating Too bad because the rest of the hotel is really nice, quaint, beautiful decor and very clean . They have bkfast , basic , but no bar or other meals..staff is super nice . ."

"Our family was looking for a place away from the crowds and on the water. We found one in Judy’s home. She was always there for tips on good places to shop and eat. Francisco, the caretaker, was very friendly and always had a smile for us. Though we didn’t know much Spanish, he was really good with Google translate. The house itself had everything we needed to cook our meals. What impressed me was there were several ways to make a good cup of coffee! And, as I told Judy, the home had a very relaxing vibe to it. It was just what our family was looking for. Thank you Judy, for sharing!"

"The link to google maps that they sent did not work - I spent an additional 45 minutes trying to find the property managers to get the location. The property is filthy and smelly, spiders/spiderwebs on every corner in the bathroom, a live roach in one bedroom, the TV in my bedroom did not work. The worst part of the experience is that two doors were completely unable to be closed and locked. I contacted the property manager - who asked me to send pictures, which I did - along with video - and they did nothing. I slept in a bedroom with the door locked (and had to slam the door to get it to latch) by myself in Mexico. NOT a positive experience. I rent frequently from VRBO & their main competitor and this is by far, the worst rental I've been in. I told them that I would NOT be staying the additional 2 days on the reservation and expecded a refund for those 2 days - at which point they told me to contact VRBO, which I just did and VRBO basically told me that they will contact them to see if they will refund the unused nights - and if they don't agree to, I will not get a refund. So I contacted my credit card company to dispute the charges and hopefully get my money back. STAY AWAY! This was a horrible experience!"

"Cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay in Santa Clara. The outdoor space at the property is simply amazing. The kids loved the pool and hot tub and taking the kayaks and paddle boards out in the ocean during low tide. We played countless family sand volleyball games and the outdoor family room / palapa is such a great space for eating, playing games and relaxing. The hosts are so responsive, kind and thoughtful. They made sure we had everything we needed, arranged tours and meals for us, bought the kids an authentic piñata for NYE, and even made sure we could watch the college playoff games. "
