"This was the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in. The room was spacious and had a beautiful view of the ocean right from the window. When we arrived, the children were greeted with lovely welcome gifts, which made the experience even more special. Breakfast was varied and delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. The outdoor saltwater pool had a very comfortable temperature, and the nearby hot-water Jacuzzi was a perfect place to relax. There’s also a warm indoor pool inside the hotel, ideal for children and great for any weather. If I ever dreamed of coming back to Madeira, it would definitely be to this hotel. It offers a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere"

"We had a holiday on Madeira in May and stayed in Anna's house for 10 days. Anna, the hostess, is a very nice and hospitable lady, and so is her helper, Eli. The house is very clean, and the kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped with everything you could possibly need. The view from the garden is breathtaking. It's just a few minutes' drive from the airport and the pretty seaside village of Santa Cruz. A local snack bar, frequented by locals, is within a two-minute walk."

"This place was amazing! Friendly staff, good food, proper drinks, clean room, everything. The only downside is that you cannot get drinks that are not on their menu, but that's okay they have a variety of options that were wonderful."

"Wonderfull hotel with amazing garden. Nice staff. Clean. Very good breakfast. We were not that impressed with the dinners we had on the hotel, we prefered the other restaruants just outside the hotel instead. Be prepared for many stairs and some steep pathways, as the rest of the island. "

"No parking in the resort, only 7 minutes away walking uphill, most uncomfortable with suitcases even if you dropped off the suitcases you would still need to walk the distance and pay. I dislike separate beds in a couples room Tough toilet paper No shampoo conditioner supplied, only a kind of soap 1 small chocolate bar in the room, for 2.5 euros, not fun or enough Receptionist quite unkind, makes no effort to be kind or friendly "

"After landing in Madeira, we headed straight to the property and were delighted to arrive. The surrounding area and grounds are beautiful and have all the facilities you could need including the pool (albeit, a bit chilly for this time of year), massage area and other areas to relax. Our room was incredibly clean, comfortable and very informative about the area and property facilities. Our favourite aspect was Berta’s breakfast. She is a wonderful and warm woman, who would go above and beyond to help and cater to the guests needs. The food was delicious and set us up for the hikes ahead! "
