"Fabulous staff, rooms, bathrooms. We loved the bar service to beds at the lovely swimming pool, the gardens were a spectacular surround for the rooms and pool. We ate in the restaurant once - it was great. The local restaurants are about 5 mins walk away, or a short public bus ride (2-3 stops) to the marina for very very fresh fish. We loved it all and we will return. A special thanks to everyone who gave us great service- esp Lord Nelson."

"It was like staying in a National Trust house - old, full of charm and beauty, interesting artefacts everywhere, rattly floorboards. Nice and quiet at night.
The price for that was a seriously hard mattress and a twisty route to the dedicated bathroom."

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. Everything was wonderful—the room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, the location was great!, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations.
Our only suggestion for improvement would be to install blackout curtains in the rooms.

The hotel is located in a beautifully designed garden with tropical flora, close to a nice natural beach. It consists of several buildings mimicking original local architecture. The rooms are furnishded and decorated in a tasty manner. The inhabitants can use a spacious swiimming pool located in the centre of the garden. Concerts of classical music three times a week. A small kitchen in each appartment helps to families with children. Close to the airport. A great value for the money.

The hotel overall is nice, parking can be an issue though and there's no mini fridge in the room to keep items cold. The staff overall was very good especially the two ladies that run the cafe who i recommend you tip and the reception desk Fernanado, and Lorimer who also suggested a decent low cost seafood restaurant called Varadero in Puerto Tazacorte. I woke recommend this place the breakfast was very good although the choices are not quite as numerous as very big hotels.
