It is situated in the midfle of a vineyard - so it is certainly quiet. Great base for exploring (by own car or taxi) the Uco Valley. It is a 20 minute walk to the road!
Simple but stylish place. Gym is just for show… $300 dollars would sort it out!
Staff were very helpful. This is a unique place for a wine aficionado!

TerraVina is clean but rustic. Friendly, helpful staff with and a quiet country feel with a nice pool and restaurant. Solid 3 star hotel
Great hotel in the Colchagua valley. Rooms are spacious and clean. Grounds are beautiful and the pool is restful! Staff are friendly and always eager to help. The restaurant serves tasty food and many wine options.
We were greeted by Rosita who was the most lovely hostess ever. She had our rooms ready early and adjusted to our requests. She ALSO made a Dr appointment for one of our party at a great local clinic. AND she let me park my car there for a few days while we made our trip to ski in Chillan. Rosita went over and above our expected hospitality. And her English was amazing. We WILL be back.
Situated in the middle of wineries, away from the hustle bustle - TerraVina is a beautiful property with rooms with a balcony facing the Andes. There is a terrific winery just a 5 to 8 minute walk and three restaurants within 5 minutes, one located directly within the property.
Lovely hotel in the middle of a beautiful network of vineyards. There are restaurants nearby and easy access into Santa Cruz by car / taxi.
The staff will help organise wine tastings in the local area.
Beautiful boutique hotel next to a winery in the heart of the Colchagua Valley. The service was excellent from check-in to check-out. They arranged same day winery tours and horseback riding for us. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Great laundry service and too. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer!
A lovely property close to town and walkable to at least one vineyard. The property managers & staff were extremely professional and kind, helping us come up with a plan when we arrived during a municipal election & everything was closed. It felt like staying in a charming old villa, but with hot water, cozy beds, and a fabulous breakfast spread. It’s well-maintained, not recently remodeled to look like a chain hotel, if that makes sense.
Sitting in the courtyard overlooking the vineyard with my morning coffee & a million songbirds was just dreamy.
Don’t miss the adjacent restaurant, it was one of the best meals we had in the area.
Beautiful setting next to a vineyard, with a pool. Restaurant on-site. Well maintained grass. Clean room with nice bedsheets and a good A/C. Good breakfast in a beautiful setting. Very nice views to the vineyard from the room and the restaurant.
The explanation given about charging IVA to Chileans who don’t reside in the country, could be more clear. The IVA exemption is based on having a piece of paper from immigration, stating the amount of time allowed to stay. That piece of paper isn’t given to any Chileans because there’s naturally no restrictions to stay forever. So, Chilean non-residents get charged 19% extra, compared to non-Chilean non-residents.
The exterior balcony of the room could be a bit cleaner from cobwebs. The shower pressure could be higher.
The pool is cold but they’re honest about it. I liked the pool.
Be advised that you can hear other guests talking outside or walking in the room above. But otherwise no noise comes from the property surroundings. We slept nicely.
The double/twin beds can be converted back and forth. Just let them know.
Overall a good stay.
What a beautiful hotel! Excellent generous breakfast, clean room overlooking the vineyard, kind and helpful staff, lovely pool area to relax in, and three restaurants on site or within easy walking distance. Not located in town so you need to drive a few minutes to grocery stores or the museum, but perfect for a quiet relaxing stay in nature.
Lovely staff right from the start with a warm welcome. The breakfast at the dining room was outstanding, really great range of foods, especially the fresh local fruits. Dinner was also very good. Comfy beds and nice balcony overlooking the vineyards.
The shower could do with a bit of an update and the pool was a bit cloudy but the property has charm and we were well looked after.

The property was lacking in atmosphere and the rooms were spartan.
TerraViña was great. The grounds were welcoming. The room was clean and spacious and overlooked vineyards. They surprised us with a bottle of wine and a welcome note congratulating us on our 34th wedding anniversary. The buffet breakfast had many choices including cooked-to-order eggs. Their onsite restaurant was convenient for our first night. They are located centrally to wineries and other restaurants. We recommend it as a place to stay.
Terra Vina is a nice hotel, just outside of town. It’s surrounded by vineyards, and is convenient to everything. The front desk staff is very helpful, and are “English Friendly “. They will make reservations for you, give helpful advice, and are all around a joy to interact with. The breakfast has fresh fruits, fresh breads, eggs, cereals, etc. We didn’t eat any other meals there. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. We ate at Vino Bello, restaurant next door, and it was good and reasonably priced. You can walk to the Laura Hartwig winery too. All around good experience

Okay but pool was closed
Terravina is a lovely destination but the pool is such a big selling point and was closed throughout our stay. Hotel didn’t tell us and when we asked the hotel about it they simply said it would be closed the entire time. Have been to other hotels where they at least warn you the pool is closed before you arrive but to charge the full price, not tell us and then act like it isn’t an issue when it’s a main selling point for the hotel, not okay!
I absolutely loved this hotel. It was so peaceful and calm. The mattress was lovely and I had the best night’s sleep. Although I came in winter time so the vines weren’t in fruit, it was still nice to see how the estate would look when it warms up, and the backdrop with the mountains behind was gorgeous.
The food in the restaurant was beautiful. And the Sommelier keen to advise me on which wines would complement my meal that evening.
The hotel helped me organise excursions such as a wine tour of some local vineyards and horse riding, and were very patient with me when I stumbled over my Spanish.
Travelling solo, the staff were extra kind to make sure I was ok, and one waitress in particular at breakfast was very sweet.
I will absolutely recommend this hotel to everyone, as I had such a lovely stay.
Beautiful hotel with exceptional customer service and views. They arranged for massages in our room, one night was so cold we wanted some soup and they called around to the different restaurants and found us some soup. Way to go above and beyond. Delicious breakfast, beautiful views, lots of vineyards near by. The one bad thing is the parking lot, if it's been raining expect lots of clay like mud everywhere. We had to clean our shoes every night. Other than that is a 10 out of 10. Can't wait to go back. Thank you everyone for an amazing experience.
Terra Vina—The only place to stay in wine country!
What a wonderful welcoming hotel in the middle of the vineyards. We had room 20 on the upper level with vineyard views and balcony overlooking them! The bed is lovely as are the pillows. A/C was great - it was hot during the day up to 104F. The staff are amazing- reception helped us arrange tours and reservations for dinner and tasting. We stayed 7 nights and it felt like home. The breakfast was fabulous- eggs cooked to order, fresh fabulous Chilean fruit, coffee, tea, breads for toasting, kuchens, meats and cheese,marmalades- just the best breakfast to get you ready for the fantastic wines in the area. I loved the fact that they really know the wineries and could send us to some great wineries that we would not have known. The owner lives onsite and wrote us directions to the airport, called our rental car place and everyone just goes out of the way to make sure everything is wonderful. The restaurant is great- we tried others nearby that quite frankly were not as good. I love that we could walk to dinner and not worry about getting a taxi or driving. There is a nice pool on the property and places to sit outside and drink ur wine. What can I say? This is the place to be in wine country!
