"My husband, three kids and I had a great experience at Casa Paxanax. It was comfortable with all the amenities we needed, plus a well stocked kitchen, lovely patio and amazing views. The property managers were very communicative and met us at the house to help us get settled. There are some tiny tiendas about a 10-15 minute walk from the house, so I suggest stopping by “La Torre” supermarket in Panajachel to pick up some groceries before taking the boat to the house.There are a couple of places within walking distance to rent Kayak’s and SUP boards and some hotels/hostels where you can grab a drink and a bite to eat. It’s also a great jumping off point to explore the other towns around the lake."

"Such a great place to stay. Helpful and friendly staff, great amenities like restaurant with excellent food, nice bed, nice shower, purified water in tap, coffee in room. Easy access to water taxis and adjacent towns. Cute small town in process of development. locals are friendly."

"This property far exceeded our expectations. The pictures shown in the listing are great, but the in person view is so much better. The entire property is wonderful. The house staff was amazing, Erynne was phenomenal to work with. She set up transportation both via van and boat for us (which both were first class). Raquel and Maria cooked amazing meals for us, and were so friendly. Guillermo helped with the wood fired pizza oven and the wood fired sauna and made sure every need was met. The paddle boards and kayaks were so fun to use. The lake itself is something out of a story book. The house was clean, spacious, and had an amazing layout. The beds were comfortable, and there was so much room to spread out and relax. This was by far the best VRBO we have stayed at, and we plan to come back. I cannot recommend this property enough."
