Perfect Santa Fe Getaway

Casa de Angeles is the perfect homebase for a visit to Santa Fe -- in a quiet, historic neighborhood but walking distance into town; lovely old casita but well-stocked with everything/anything you might need; easy access to routes out of town for adventures beyond Santa Fe. 5 stars across the board!

Great place close to old town

We loved our stay here! Great location, we walked to old town each day- sometimes twice! Linens are fantastic, very comfortable bed. Happy to have washer and dryer use. Very clean and organized. Loved the fireplace and other touches throughout. Couldn’t ask for a better stay.

Wonderful Cassita!

We had such an amazing stay here. The location was perfect, which allowed us easy access to restaurants, museums, historic sights, and hiking trails. The house was very clean, well stocked, and had so many unique touches to it that really made you appreciate the Santa Fe vibe. We were there during a snow/cold front; so, make sure you have four wheel drive as the area (including the driveway) had numerous icy/snowy terrain to navigate through. We highly recommend this place, and will be back for sure!

A Cozy Casita

This rental is perfect if what you want is quiet yet convenient, cozy and comfortable, and quintessential Santa Fe. The history of the place / compound was so cool too and to know what came before is always a compelling story to know. The patio outdoors was just a wonderful place to read. The kitchen, while small had everything we needed. The bed was really comfortable and provided a good night’s sleep. BUt one of the most wonderful parts were the pastel drawings that the owner has done and adorn the walls of the casita. They are stunning and give her interpretation of the area. Just perfect. The location is centrally located to many of the Santa Fe highlights - though for those of us used to a consistent system of sidewalks there was a little more “creativity” in the pedestrian approach. A great coffee shop and mailbox within easy walk and Canyon Rd is at the end of Garcia St. Communication with the owner was easy and fast - she was very responsive to the little concerns we had. We found everyone working around the compound very pleasant and friendly. I would stay here again in a heartbeat if we are ever able to get back to Santa Fe.

The casita is just as described. That said the owner has gone far beyond the expected in stocking the unit from kitchen to writing desk with everything one might need. And labels explaining TV, washers, etc are detailed and abundant, making it easy to settle in and enjoy Santa Fe. Location is excellent, very comfortable, quiet, the patio is great for sitting outside and enjoying the morning or evening. One the best we have encountered.

Lovely hideaway

As walkers, we loved that everything we wanted to see as about a mile away—the plaza, museum hill, railroad district, canyon road And we then returned after each excursion to our charming casita. Comfortable, pretty, convenient. We will return!

Authentic Santa Fe Stay

My husband and stayed here 3 nights. The adobe is loved, cared for and well maintained. It was clean without any strong perfume/floral scents; this was a big plus for helping me avoid any asthma flare-up’s. We had everything we needed, appreciated the variety of teas and history about the area. It’s appears located close to the historic downtown district, but we had a car and did not walk it…anyway it was a little too cold to walk. Lastly, it was quiet, both the bed and sofa bed were comfortable and we enjoyed star gazing at night.

Cozy & Convenient

This was a wonderful way to explore old Santa Fe!The casita was comfortable and special, so close to most of what we wanted to see in town that we could walk there. Our host proved to be exceptionally gracious and helpful, and we greatly appreciate her advice. It was a wonderful stay all in all--but far too short!
