The host was very welcoming, the amenities were well attended to. The casita felt like a safe spot to land. It is located well away from the business of Santa Fe, but still local enough to get around town quickly. We live in an adobe house in another city, so were quite pleased to stay at the casita. I picked up a few home decorating ideas as well. Thank you for welcoming us to the casita.
Had a fantastic stay. House was very spacious and comfortable with just about everything you could need. Communication was excellent. The home is within a comfortable walking distance from most attractions. However, we were there in mid-January so we opted to drive to the plaza area rather than walk due to the cold weather and parking at this time of year is plentiful. We absolutely enjoyed access and ease of use of the fireplace. We enjoyed that tremendously and Laurel provided enough fuel for the three days we were there. We really appreciated the use of the fireplace as it was very cold. Furnishings were comfortable. Everything we utilized was very well maintained and clean. It's located in a residential area and we felt very safe. Parking is a little tight but is manageable with a midsize suv and we appreciated it was off of the street and a guaranteed space.Thank you for a great stay and we would certainly consider staying here again if we were to return. Highly recommend. Ruth and Eddie
Everything in the property was very clean. The kitchen is equipped with the basics, though no baking/roasting dishes. It's a very quiet location with lots of privacy. Easy access to everything in Santa Fe.
The host was very welcoming before we arrived, and helpful with questions. The casita is cozy and comfy, with everything we needed. The location is perfect, it’s quiet, nice neighborhood and close to everything. Absolutely loved our stay and we would highly recommend it and Laurel!
Just as advertised! Quaint, comfortable and great location. Had everything we needed to be comfortable and enjoy the sights in Santa Fe and the surrounding areas. We went shopping, hiking in the National Forest, attended the Balloon Fiesta in Albuquerque and hiked at Ghost Ranch. Will definitely stay here again!
Conveniently located home away from home casita in a clean quiet historic area - which is thoughtfully maintained with attention to guest’s comfort. We would gladly stay there again!
Everything about our stay was top notch! The casita is beautiful, spacious, yet cozy. Perfect Santa Fe vibe! Kitchen is well-equipped and efficient.Location is superb! In a quiet neighborhood, but within a short walk or drive of shops, restaurants, museums, etc.Laurel is a caring and responsive host! We had a small electrical problem when we arrived, but Laurel was on it immediately and had an electrician out ON A SUNDAY to fix it. She also has great recommendations on restaurants and things to see.We wouldn’t stay any where else when in Santa Fe!
First of all, loved the neighborhood and the very private and cozy courtyard. Enjoyed the historical architecture with modern amenities - the casita was lacking nothing and close to everything. Laurel was very easy to communicate with and her artwork throughout the casita was spectacular.
The casita is just as described. That said the owner has gone far beyond the expected in stocking the unit from kitchen to writing desk with everything one might need. And labels explaining TV, washers, etc are detailed and abundant, making it easy to settle in and enjoy Santa Fe. Location is excellent, very comfortable, quiet, the patio is great for sitting outside and enjoying the morning or evening. One the best we have encountered.
As walkers, we loved that everything we wanted to see as about a mile away—the plaza, museum hill, railroad district, canyon road And we then returned after each excursion to our charming casita. Comfortable, pretty, convenient. We will return!
Best casita in best location ever after decades of trying other very nice lodgings. Beautifully appointed casita, authentic adobe in very accessible area, best charming historic neighborhood in town. Spacious casita, beautifully furnished in Santa Fe style and art, best appliances, all clean, new & working well. Lovely outdoor, private, floral patio. Perfect place to relax, or enjoy with friends or family. Best summer climate in the world! Go! And stay at this casita. You can’t do better!
This generously sized property is in a quiet location and easily accessible to what Santa Fe offers in terms of museums, opera, etc. The bed is comfortable, and the instructions for various items in the unit are clearly printed. Additionally the unit is well-stocked and clean!
The casita was great. Quiet area and peaceful. It was everything we were hoping for. Owner was great to deal with. No complaints and we plan to come back again.
This rental is perfect if what you want is quiet yet convenient, cozy and comfortable, and quintessential Santa Fe. The history of the place / compound was so cool too and to know what came before is always a compelling story to know. The patio outdoors was just a wonderful place to read. The kitchen, while small had everything we needed. The bed was really comfortable and provided a good night’s sleep. BUt one of the most wonderful parts were the pastel drawings that the owner has done and adorn the walls of the casita. They are stunning and give her interpretation of the area. Just perfect. The location is centrally located to many of the Santa Fe highlights - though for those of us used to a consistent system of sidewalks there was a little more “creativity” in the pedestrian approach. A great coffee shop and mailbox within easy walk and Canyon Rd is at the end of Garcia St. Communication with the owner was easy and fast - she was very responsive to the little concerns we had. We found everyone working around the compound very pleasant and friendly. I would stay here again in a heartbeat if we are ever able to get back to Santa Fe.
Delightful in every way. Charming, artistic, good location, every attempt to make one comfortable, safe, and valued. Absolutely returning as often as possible!
We highly recommend Casa de Angeles! This little casita is charming, comfortably furnished, and in a perfect location. The owner is a great host. Check in and out were very easy. We will definitely stay again if our travels bring us back to Santa Fe.
This was our second time staying at Casa de Angeles and we had a wonderful time. The casita is in a great location, the owner is very accommodating with what she provides you for your stay, you can reach her easily if you had any questions or problems, and you feel right at home.We look forward to staying at Casa de Angeles again.
This place is like a dream come true. It has a wonderful warm & authentic feeling from the minute you walk in. All amenities & furnishings are top quality. The location in a beautiful historic neighborhood is a perfect way to experience Santa Fe.
