Original Adobe Home in Historic Santa Fe - 1/2 mile to Plaza, shops and museums

Adorable authentic and historic adobe home located at 117 Quintana Street and an easy walk to the Plaza in the center of Santa Fe. The living room has a wood burning kiva fireplace and opens on to a large dinning area with built in cabinetry. The new dining room table will comfortably seat eight. The kitchen has been updated with new cabinets and counter tops. There is cozy back patio with a wood burning kiva fireplace, patio table & chairs and a lounge chair. The front and back are landscaped and on drip irrigation.

The master bedroom has a queen bed. The second bedroom has a twin bed. There is off-street parking for one small to medium size car (not an F150 or similar vehicle) and it must be parked in the driveway (City of Santa Fe ordinance). Additional parking is on nearby San Francisco Street.

A stucco wall in the front provides privacy from the street. This home really captures the old charm of Santa Fe.

There is extensive natural light from all windows in all the rooms. The home is located on a quiet dead end street.

This home is fully equipped with all the necessary items to move right in. All linens, towels and full kitchen supplies are provided. Special long stay arrangements may be accommodated upon request.

Wood Burning Fireplace - we do not provide firewood however bundles are available for purchase at the nearby grocery stores during the winter season.

The home is dog friendly and please indicate a pet on booking. Unfortunately, no cats due to the sensitivity of other guests.

Great in every way

We had a wonderful stay in this home. Location was ideal for moving around on foot and do be sure to take the advice about needing a small car to tuck into the driveway! The back patio was just lovely for breakfasting and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinner from our farmers market haul. A home that includes nice-quality bedding and towels gets a A from me. Thank you!

Great location, we could walk to town. It was fun to stay in an adobe home with all of the modern conveniences. The bed could be a little more comfortable but otherwise we loved our time there. Great location to stay to enjoy Santa Fe, we can’t wait to go back.

What a spectacular city!

Santa Fe was beautiful and the VRBO was a perfect fit to our long weekend getaway. It was walking distance to everything in the Plaza! Our host was an excellent communicator too!

Cozy house in a great location

This house has everything you'd want in a Santa Fe stay. A clean adobe home with a kiva fireplace and great kitchen. A wonderful outdoor space with another kiva fireplace. A dead end quiet and secluded street. Plus, walking distance to the Plaza and Railyard areas. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Stay!

What a wonderful property! The house was great and had everything we needed. More importantly, ITS CLEAN! Everything was as described and communication with Richard was flawless. Location is great as well. Walking into the Plaza is a short walk and only took us 5-10 minutes. We would definitely recommend anyone to stay here. Its a great property!

Very comfortable and well maintained by responsive hosts. On a cool evening the courtyard seemed to have absorbed some of the day's heat and was unexpectedly pleasant. Only concern would be for physically challenged guests who might have difficulty with the uneven floors.

Quick visit on our ultimate destination

We have stayed in an other adobe casitas several times before. There are no words to describe the attention to detail and the cleanliness of the property - not to mention the communication with Richard. This property was much different than the other one we have stayed at, but no less amazing. It is a tight property as far as space goes, but it is like stepping back into time and and staying in an actual adobe structure. You can walk to the Plaza, the Rail Yards, and near all the wonderful restaurants and the grocery store. Our family cannot imagine staying at any other management property. Our entire family is looking forward to returning during the holiday season and staying at adobecasitas.

Our stay in Santa Fe

Overall we found the property a good value. The kitchen was well equipped, good pots and pans, silverware, dishes and appliances. The plastic tumblers should be replaced. There was plenty of space in the dinning and living areas allowing us to unwind after a long day of visiting shops, museums and galleries. Walking to downtown was easy and enjoyable. The access to the square and surrounding restaurants was excellent. Parking on the street was no problem. We also enjoyed the beautiful gardens surrounding the house. We utilized the back patio for grilling and evening cocktails. What kept us from giving a higher star rating are easy fixes: upgrading the linen and towels (matching towels and newer sheets), replacing the caulking around the tub would add to a sense of cleanliness. Replacing the broken bench or just removing it would help with first impressions. That is a beautiful garden! Overall it is a charming cottage w/south western charm on a quiet street convenient everything.

This property is in a fantastic location for visiting Santa Fe. The bedrooms are nicely decorated and the patio and private garden are a real plus.The host gave all information needed and everything was very straight forward.The only down side was the parking space - very tight - my daughter was in charge of that as I cannot reverse like that.Overall very happy with the stay and property.

Nice Pueblo Casita Stay

Location is a short walk to the Plaza and also for us with a dog, close to several walking trails. Casita also has a fully fenced yard and back patio is setup nicely for grilling and eating outdoors. As has been mentioned in previous reviews and also by the owner parking can be a challenge. A neighbor parked across from the driveway and it was almost impossible to get into the driveway. Mobility issues would be a challenge as there are uneven floors, several steps and a narrow doorway into the bathroom. For us the Casita met all of our needs with a well stocked kitchen and a relaxing place to unwind after a day of exploring.
