The rooms are spacious, good size balcony and would also be ideal for a long term stay, equipped with kitchenette and plenty of storage. The resort features a huge pool area with ample seating. "I stayed in beautiful Sirmione traveling with my daughter after she did a university internship in Rome. The hotel location was fantastic, right in the old town and steps from restaurants and castle. Easy walk to all the delights of Sirmione. Staff speak beautiful English and super helpful and responsive. They set up convenient train station and airport transfers. The Jamaica beach has sun chairs covered by the hotel, and staff set us up with beach towels and sent us there which was a wonderful and relaxed half day. Luggage storage convenient. Room clean, comfortable, air conditioned. We had an amazing experience and would definitely stay only in Casa Scaligeri upon a return to Sirmione."

"Located 20 minutes away from the Arena. In exchange you receive a comfortable hotel with parking facilities. In our case, in the evenings when we had dinner in town we requested a taxi (it always arrived within 5 minutes). Usually a 10 minute ride. After dinner we walked. In summary, if you have a car this is a perfect hotel."

"The Hotel is in a beautiful location and first impressions are superb. There is a small plaque suggesting that’s it’s a boutique hotel where I would rate it less so. It lacks such detail and finesse. Our family room for four was inadequate in terms of a small sofa bed. They should have family suites. The staff are all happy yet they could do with more training and again finesse on the personal service side - particularly at the restaurant where we felt ignored at times. The younger staff being better than those above them. The reception staff were great. The restaurant has a limited menu and is expensive, so most opt for the cheaper yet delicious pizzas. No pasta or salad to choose from and the other dishes are very small. There is no real, cozy/elegant/boutique bar area, just one that is an unmanned, used to service the restaurant. Breakfast is amazing but again, the breakfast area could be so much more homely and elegant - airing boutique. There is a shuttle to town but nothing late so you have to get a taxi back which isn’t easy or great. I would try another hotel in the same area again first but would definitely go back. It would be great to see these improvements to give it a higher rate and review."

"This was my second time to stay at this hotel. The location is great - it’s a few minutes walk from the arena. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is of good quality with lots of choices. However, the small single room I had on this visit was extremely expensive. While I understand that prices increase when the opera is on - €315.00 (inclusive of taxes and city taxes) is very high for such a tiny room. I didn’t even get a complementary bottle of water even though the weather was extremely hot. There was also a small issue as the soap dispenser in my room was broken - it was lying in the sink. It took two visits to the room to repair this while I waited in reception. I did appreciate being given a coffee while I waited. I will certainly look at other hotels on my next visit to Verona if the hotel is this expensive. I do plan to visit again as I thoroughly enjoyed the opera at such a historic venue."
