The issue is that it is a little far from Lucca and/or any center, so I think they could help guests by putting a bottle of water in the room, and/or having some coffee/tea (they provided coffee pods for the first day only. "We are a group of 12 retired friends traveling first time in Tuscany. Villa Buonamici was the perfect accommodation for us. It is very close to the gate to the walled city center, literally only minutes away. The accommodations were exactly as described. Checkin/out was very easy and convenient. "The Hotel is excellently placed with good little pavement restaurants on the car free street directly outside. Hotel is modern, clean and well equipped , great buffet breakfast with helpful and friendly staff. Room top bar and restaurant with views directly of the Tower. It appears to be popular with non residents so book a place in advance rather than just show up. "
