"Pros: La casa es tal y como se describe. El lugar tranquilo para disfrutar de su terraza y la piscina. Muy bien el aire acondicionado que nos ha ayudado a pasar el calor de toda la semana. El apartamento tiene de todo lo necesario e incluso nos dejaron un pequeño detalle de bienvenida. Todos muy limpio y ordenado. El contacto con el anfitrión fue por WhatsApp, responde muy rápido. "The physical space is adequate but when we arrived we had no hot water for almost for almost 4 days. This was very disappointing after travelling 24 hr and no showers!! The bed linens are not nice (stains, rough to the skin, no duvet covers), the towels were OK. Two doors jammed into the floor. Besides no hot water, the place was really cold. The outside temp at night was 3 degrees. Only heat was two portable heaters. Coffee maker leaked water everywhere and coffee was not hot. Location was...

"La decoración del apartamento. Las zonas comunes y piscinas muy agradables, sin contar los portales. La terraza es fantástica, pero muy incomodo su acceso y peligroso para niños pequeños. La cocina debería tener un escurre cubiertos. La plancha esta sucia y no nos atrevimos a utilizarla. Deberían hablar con los servicios de la comunidad los partales están sucios y las escaleras no las barren nunca. (En el portal Hubo un salva sleep mas de 5 días tirado en las escaleras)"

"The apartment was perfect for our 2 months stay and had everything we needed. In particular we enjoyed the morning sun and the pretty view from the deck and the private sun roof, the spacious closets in the bedrooms, the efficient heating on those colder days. Heidi, our host, was super nice and helpful and available anytime to address a few smaller issues. We can definitely recommend staying with Heidi - and we are already considering to return next spring! Thank you Heidi!"

"Used for one full day stay at Faro. Close to airport (8 minute walk). Room was clean and very basic. There was a place to lock luggage privately for early arriving. Very nice & well kept pool. There is a grocery store with a food cafe inside about 4 minute walk away. As a basic hotel close to airport at a fair price this was a good option."

"We loved it! Everyone super warm and welcoming. Both me and my partner are 30 and had the best time at this hotel. It had everything we could possibly need on a beach holiday to enjoy. The area itself is a resort town and so can be a repetitive but when you venture out and see the surrounding towns and villages you will fall in love!!"

"Lovely hotel but I can really see why it’s a 4 star! I was by myself and found staff to be very nice and polite. The pinch points were the bar - just hire more staff. There was always a queue. I didn’t go all inclusive but food and drinks I thought was reasonably well ish priced. The other frustration was I got put in a room in the corner which was a bit sad. I understand it was their basic room but it just lacked the luxury a bit. The local area and cute shops are worth the short walk into town - would highly recommend Botega Italiana - lots of veggie options. Lovely hotel but just lacks a tiny bit of refinement."

"Our superior room with a balcony was wonderfully comfortable. The small fridges in these rooms is a game changer as the hotel doesn’t have a restaurant ( although it does offer a cold buffet for breakfast) so stocking up with snacks for lunch etc is important. Olhao is a charming working fishing port with some good restaurants. These range from tapas to local vernacular through to higher end gourmet offerings. The front desk staff are good at recommending in form restaurants. The rooftop pool & bar is a great feature of this hotel. It affords panoramic views of the town and the islands of Armona ( great beaches a 10 minute ferry ride away) & Cultara. This is our fourth visit so we like it!"
