I paid overprice because I booked through Hotels.com. I should have booked on at the place instead. It would have been half price. That bothers me. The place is fine but overpriced on Hotels.com

Las habitaciones limpias y cómodas, contamos con wifi pero no tv (desconfigurado modem), la alberca muy bien, el hotel tranquilo y seguro. Ubicación un poco lejos del área turística. Para asignar la habitación muy demorado y la recepción normalmente vacía.

La estancia en el Hotel fue buena, aunque cuando reserve no informan que el tipo de habitación no era el que muestran en las fotos, la habitación donde estuve estaba más sencilla y era en otro edificio muy distinto al de las fotos.

Pool very, very dirty. No phone in room. Continental breakfast was included but they tried to charge me for that. Hotel rented the pool to an elementary school class with 30 children out of control. I cancelled the rest of my days but I didn't get a refund

This was a nice hotel, close to the beach, and has a great pool and restaurant on-site. Having a fridge in the room was a nice bonus too - would recommend!

Mal servicio, no me cambian toayas desde hace 3 días por que no las encontraron en el suelo rgumentan, el desayuno solo es café 2 panes tostados y 6 trozos de fruta, las chicas que sirven el desayuno mala actitud, te tratan de mala gana, el aire acondicionado gotea y sale agua, no regresaría definitivamente.

This was our 3rd stay in 8 years at Punta Esmeralda. This location was convenient for us as we are there to visit cousins who live nearby. It is a quiet, clean, secure and a basic accommodation. The staff, Vincente, Elizabeth, William, Jasmin, Lucy, Celia, to name a few , are very helpful and friendly. This year a breakfast was included, it was served around 9 am it consisted of a nice bowl of fruit, toast and coffee. It was too bad the elevator was out of order. The AC works well and there are ceiling fans. The fridge was big enough for our needs. The hot plate was old but worked OK. there is no microwave. You havethe use of a coffee maker and blender. There is a safe in the room. The room is cleaned every day, however do not always expect a hot shower. The large balcony has a sitting bench and hammock. From there we enjoyed beautiful sunsets. The WiFi this year was working well. It is nice to have a pool for cooling off as it was 30 C for the 2 weeks we were there. Punta Esmeralda is at a walking distance from the beach and La Punta, where people gather to surf. There are affordable restaurants all along the beach and many convenience stores near by. We like going to Agua Blanca, a beach 30 min south of Puerto Escondido Manzanillo is also a very nice beach. We do most of our activities with our cousins. However you can rent a car or bicycle and book tours at the hotel. Taxis are also very affordable Enjoy your stay if you decide to go.

No se quien este a cargo de subir sus propuestas o paquetes pero al principio no es lo que yo reserve para nada es cercano alo que te muestran reserve una cama king size. Para dos personas y nos dieron. Una habitacion como para una familia entera y bueno el aire acondicionado tambien no enfriaba bien debe ser por que les ha de faltar mantenimiento o de plano ya estan viejos en eo desayuno al momento de reservar pense que era un desayuno completo y sale que no es asi pero bueno. Ami parecer nos tomaron el pelo pero de ahi en fuera lo demas esta pasable

El lugar no es feo. Es. Cómodo y el personal es amable y educado como todos los oaxaqueños que pudimos tratar. Sin embargo yo contrate el hotel y me. Incluían desayuno. Nunca especificaron que era continental. Además es obvio que si yo estoy pagando por dos adultos y dos niños. El Desayuno debería ser para los 4. Y sólo me ofrecieron para los Dos adultos. Por favor no traten de engañar;~ es mejor la Honestidad. Gracias

Esmeralda

The stay at Esmeralda was very satisfactory. The price, the amenities, the space, the privacy. I had a suite with a large bed, bathroom ensuite, kitchenette with fridge and hotplate,and bottled water provided. Air conditioning was available, but very noisy ! The suite had a large balcony and a beautiful view. The location was handy to the beach --a short walk, or up to the road to access small stores, laundry services, etc Esmeralda is located in La Punta which is a short distance from Zicatella Beach.
