"We had a wonderful three nights in the mountain facing rooms. Added bonus of being able to watch the sun rise from the room. Friendly staff provided an excellent meal on the first evening. Breakfast choices were many and varied; we certainly set off each day well filled. The village itself was great for wandering around and the castle of course was the highlight. Slightly scared at first at the narrow entrance into the village in our hire car, but it's actually OK. Plenty of room. Parking...

"Such a beautiful hotel in a truly breathtaking location. One of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed and the staff was so friendly and attentive- highly recommend staying here. If you stay here, I recommend parking at the bottom and caking to request a shuttle to the hotel, especially if you are coming in at night and not used to driving through the narrow streets. 10/10, 5 stars"

"We booked this hotel through Expedia during a very hot weekend because the listing displayed photographs of a swimming pool among the property’s amenities and facilities. Upon arrival, before checking in, we discovered that the hotel does not actually have a swimming pool on site. The pool shown in the listing is a municipal pool located elsewhere.
