"The first time I’ve stayed in a parador. Secluded and a real experience in the mountains overlooking a lake We had an upgraded room which gave us a wonderful view. Not for you if you want disco and nightlife. Great if you like the outdoors and peace and quiet."

The only negatives we experienced were that the rooms were too warm and the AC doesn’t really work; opening the windows is fine but since there is no net it’s easy for bugs to get into the room. The second in the outdated key system where the key stops working if it gets close to a phone. We had to visit the reception multiple times during our 4 day stay. "

"The staff was just SO sweet. Our group of 4 was not in the mood to go out for dinner, so they set up a spread in the kitchen. Somehow we booked the honeymoon suite so were surprised to find a big heart of rose petals on our bed as well as champagne and Cokes. They let us park right out front the entire stay.
