"Beautifully situated hotel overlooking lake Albano offering excellent views. There is a seasonal rooftop outdoor pool as well as an inside pool/solarium. No restaurant for evening meals but well presented continental breakfast included. It's only a 10min walk to the charming old town with lots of restaurants and cafes etc. Also a short (but steep) walk to the train station.
Unfortunately, there weren't many guests when we stayed and the hotel felt a little lacking in atmosphere. The main terrace and solarium areas were reserved for an event and not available to us during our stay.
Our room window glazing panel was permanently steamed up obscuring the fabulous view and the rooftop pool appeared unfiltered and missing tiles.
Overall, great location, friendly and attentive staff with magnificent views but needs a little maintenance here and there."
