"I stayed at this hotel twice - once for two nights to explore Lisbon and then for a quick overnight before an early flight home. So convenient to the Metro! Literally a three minute walk. One comment, not a complaint - the hotel is really dark. Until my eyes adjusted I needed the light on my phone to find both the elevator buttons and the room number - this seems to be a trend in hotels (both in Europe and US), but I don’t get it. Rooms are cozy small, mine were definitely intended for solo traveler (perfect), but nicely decorated - reminded me of New York hotels in which 80% of the room is taken up by the bed. Nice amenities - coffee, water and a bottle of not bad red Portuguese wine. And a welcome drink in the bar - nice touch. Front desk Staff was friendly - but no bell staff to speak of - would’ve been lovely to have a little assistance with luggage at 4:20 this morning while waiting for Uber (much much much cheaper than having hotel arrange transport). I like the place - location, vibe, safety and amenities could all warrant a return visit. "

"Very clean, nice rooms with superior air conditioning. Comfortable beds with nice bedding and very helpful front desk staff. Excellent breakfast buffet at their restaurant for a good value. The location is stellar, located between two main squares but only a two minute walk to each. You are in the center of everything--restaurants, shopping, sites. Lots of extra touches that are special. Free minibar in room with juice, beer and wine complementary. And cute kids toiletry kits in the room. We had a wonderful stay in Lisbon and the staff very friendly and there 24-7. Hotel is in an older building with modern decor. It has a smaller lobby and the cocktail lounge seemed to be closed but the restaurant was open early and closed late. "

"Room 102 is large, spacious, and faces out toward the main street. There a floor to ceiling wardrobe with a safe for valuables, and a mini fridge. The bathroom has a stand-up shower with toilet and bidet, however there's no lock on the bathroom door which our only gripe. It could also use a few more hooks to hang towels, but it was very clean. Despite facing the front, the main street quieted down during the night so you shouldn't be disturbed by any noise while asleep and there are blackout curtains if you want to sleep in. The location was right in the middle of everything with shops, convenience stores, bakeries, etc within seconds of walking. And generally in the early evening/late afternoon you can catch sidewalk performers from your view. We opened the windows to enjoy listening to the saxophone performer. There's an ice machine on the first floor, but it's not a large dispenser, it's a personal ice machine. Doesn't seem like a lot of people know about it since it was full of ice when we needed. But a large water bottle take up most of the ice and you'd have to wait for it to make more. Also, if you need to get around further, the metro station is also seconds away. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again."
