Hide Away is an adorable carriage house located just a short walk to the beach, pools, tennis courts, fitness center, and children's park. This cottage is centrally located and is a 3-minute walk to the beach and just a 5-minute walk to downtown Seaside, Florida with over 35 shops and dining options just steps from your front door. Park your car and walk to all things Seaside, Florida.

This studio second-floor walk-up makes for a comfortable stay with a completely renovated open floor plan. There is a renovated kitchen featuring a large quartz center island with bar seating for four and a full kitchen complete with an electrical four burner stove, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, and a full-size refrigerator. There is a renovated full bathroom with built-in storage, a single vanity, and a glass-enclosed walk-in shower. The main studio area is surrounded by windows giving the space a bright beachy vibe. The main area has a king bed, dresser, flat screen TV, and side tables, all you need for a quick beach escape with a prime location. There is also a covered Juliette balcony at the front of the cottage with two seats, for some additional outdoor handout space. Additional items - outdoor shower and private charcoal grill at rear of studio cottage.

*This cottage may also be rented with the main Drift Away cottages for additional space. Drift Away (5 bedroom), Drift Away 4 (4 bedroom), Drift Away Suite (1 bedroom) All Drift Away cottages share a washer/dryer. There is shared driveway parking for this unit. Drift 4 and Drift 1 may also be rented at the same time, and guests will have first-come/first-served driveway parking. However, guests will be given a Seaside Town Council parking pass that will allow for self-parking along Savannah Street as long as no other driveway is blocked and or in the overflow parking available at Smolian Circle."

Great spot for a casual getaway

The cottage was clean and cozy, private driveway and short walk to the beach. The town is adorable, and property management was helpful and responsive. Even left us a sweet gift/beach bag! Will definitely book with them again.

Hide Away Getaway

The unit is awsome. Location couldn’tt be more convenient. As recommended improvements go, we suggest increased ground level lighting, replace t if the toilet unit (the valve chain kept slipping, and a silent icemaker would be great! These comments in no way would prevent us from booking the same unit again!

We had a great stay. The only issue we had was the wifi was not working a few times. The location was perfect, quiet and relaxing. The customer service was excellent. I stayed with my 8 year old daughter and it was the perfect size for us.

We loved this rental!

This was our first visit to Seaside - the carriage house was just as pictured and described. We were could easily walk to everything. The beach was absolutely beautiful.

Short getaway

Short trip to the beach solo. This place was very clean and equipped with everything needed. Short walk to the beach and restaurants. Had to find parking on the street instead of at the property which was not as convenient as I would have liked but all in all it worked out fine. Would stay there again. Very nice place.

The space was just what I needed as a solo traveler. And the location to the main downtown area was a short few-minute walk. I was pleasantly surprised by the goodie bag that welcomed me alongside all kinds of information about Seaside and the accompanying amenities. The staff was also super helpful and welcoming, both ahead of my stay and while I was in town. The personal welcome by a staffer shortly after check-in was such a nice, personal touch. They constantly checked in via text message to make sure everything was going well. And if I needed anything, it was so easy to get in touch with them. Highly recommend both the Homeowner's Collection in general and specifically the Hide Away property!!

A Hide Away Worth Remembering

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was in town for the Seaside Prize celebrations, and this was truly a delightful Hide Away. I was able to easily walk on the network footpaths to the square, the beach and all the other venue sites. I rode my bike to the state forest and the shopping area on Highway 395 via the separated multi-use side path. Fabulous stay. Highly recommend both Seaside and the Hide Away cottage.

September Get Away

We enjoyed our stay and the location of the carriage house was just right. The accommodations and amenities provided were great. My only recommendation would be to improve the bed situation. I understand it's a small space but I'd encourage the Owner or Manager to replace the bed with something where your feet don't hang off the end. We turned 90 degrees to sleep but it was still odd.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We definitely enjoyed our stay. Quiet location with ample parking. This carriage house has a dishwasher and full fridge. There were some maintenance issues that needed attention: door knob to balcony was very loose, disposal was jammed with a rusted screw and inoperable, the required emergency lights emitted a constant low hum and were inoperable, and the ironing board was missing. Outdoor grill was awesome!
